AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Shop elsewhere!! Rob at Cybermarket is quite possibly the rudest person I have ever dealt with over the phone. We received a faulty followspot, as the colour wheel wasn't working properly. After contacting the Returns Department, I was offered a replacement; however, the quality of the item made me think that if it's brand new and not working, another one probably won't last very long. So, we asked for a refund. Rob emailed me and asked me to 'Please package your item and return it to the address below, with your copy of this email referencing the SOR number,' which I did. The next day (today) the DPD driver would not take the parcel due to the addresses not matching what he had on his pickup card. I then called Rob, and he said that this 'wouldn't have happened' and 'you've never had a problem before'. It did happen, Rob, and we have the entire situation on CCTV, as it was in the College's Reception. If you would like to watch the footage, I'll happily send it to you and your team. I do not appreciate you speaking to a customer like this, as you are essentially stating that I am lying. Your tone was very passive and rude. This is absolutely disgraceful customer service. For anyone considering shopping with Cyber Market, I would advise you to stay away.

Regarding the faulty product, we fully understand how receiving an item that does not work correctly can be both inconvenient and disappointing. We did offer a replacement initially, but we absolutely respect your decision to request a refund instead. We aim to make returns as smooth as possible and regret that there was confusion with the courier. While we typically have very few issues with DPD collections, it’s clear that in this case, something went wrong — and we apologize for the inconvenience this caused. We’d also like to clarify that we never intend to suggest a customer is being dishonest. If our communication came across that way, we sincerely apologize. We are always willing to investigate issues in good faith and are committed to resolving them respectfully and professionally. Your feedback will be used to help improve how we communicate and manage these situations in the future.

Damaged goods and no easy way of returning. Have to wait 7 days on eBay before leaving other than positive feedback.

I have made my packaging dissatisfaction (no item protection whatsoever in a plastic bag) known to Cybermarket and received an implausible and unhelpful response.

Thanks for your review. We are sorry that this arrived to you in this fashion, we don't usually ship in that packaging. We are still looking into the issue on why this was shipped like this, this is why are response was a bit poor at the time.
