“Our splashback arrived damaged, but because we didn't open the package within 24 hours we were refused a refund. Our house was a building site at the time and the builders didn't open it straightaway as they were not working on the kitchen yet. The 24 hour rule for refunds is unfair and ridiculous, and was incredibly frustrating to happen during a stressful renovation. We will never buy anything from Custom Splashbacks.”

“Ordered a gold flashback sample (sample approx cost £5) - sent a silver one. Haven’t asked for a refund - but happy if you sent one! Won’t be using this company. Very rarely leave negative views but you asked ….”

“The item arrived damaged and I have reported this to Nicola Callaghan who I had some regular dialogue with. However, she has not responded to my latest correspondence, she also said she would pass onto her manager, this was over two weeks ago. I’ve ordered three items in the last 6 or so months and up until now I would have given 5 stars. However, this last order has been a really poor experience.”

“Avoid at all costs. Despite providing accurate measurements the splashback panel arrived the wrong size. Mistakes happen and so I offered to send it back to be resized and was happy to pay the cost. However, I was ignored for 6 weeks with no contact or reply to my emails. Finally received a response dismissing my concerns and offering no solution. Do not use this company. Complete amateurs with absolutely no customer service skills.”

“The product is great but the team is extremely frustrating to deal with. To the extent that I have now changed the design of my kitchen so I don't have to deal any more! I wouldn't buy from them, if you want an acrylic splash back, there are plenty of other, more efficient companies. I've used sheetplastics.co.uk in the past and they've always been brilliant.”

“Product Smokey Grey Mirror Splash-back (more like black plastic! Not glass!) Not good! Awaiting refund and product now removed from their site! Dear Custom Splashbacks. Having received the splashbacks yesterday these were also fitted and allowed to cure overnight, however on removing the protective paper on mirror today it is evident that they are of very poor quality in respect of being badly warped, plus imperfections with warping within splashback and looking more like something you would find at a circus funfair as they are so badly warped reduce you to more of a comedy mirror seeing you go from fat to thin etc. I have attached pictures but it is hard to capture the imperfections, but you can see from reflections that the door lines are warped and the fat to thin instance when you move along. I am extremely disappointed with the splashbacks and have no option but to try remove them as it makes the newly bespoke fitted kitchen look cheap and nasty! I can confirm that the walls are flat having been newly plastered plus silicone/adhesive was applied in level equal quantities, however the effect is as mentioned ridiculous and need removing somehow, I'm sure this will damage the plaster trying to achieve this! With this I would like your urgent advice and action in regard to a solution, either refund or replacement however having seen the product I am sure they will be as bad again! Hi Hope you’re well. I am sorry that you have not had a response to your email – we were investigating the issue on our end. It does look like the product is prone to show imperfections with pressure spots. We have since removed the product from our website as it’s not something we are happy with and want to associate our premium range with. We will process a refund for the order back into your paypal account Still awaiting refund!?”
