Hi Claire, thanks for your feedback, it would be good if you could send us a photo of the problem you have found - we do not use machine sewing on our Roman blinds - we use stab stitches which are sewn by hand in a few areas to hold the lining to the fabric which is regarded as a much higher quality finish, without these stitches the fabric would not hold to the lining to create the folds.
