“I started my training with CTC at the beginning of the year and was initially impressed by the prompt communication and support from my tutor. However, after a few months, the communication abruptly stopped. The most disappointing part was the customer service experience. When I reached out to request an extension due to my breast cancer diagnosis, I received a response that merely included a payment link, with no acknowledgement of my situation. Even after following up, there was no further response. This lack of empathy and engagement was truly disappointing and has overshadowed my entire experience.”

“HLTA Course. There was no 'teaching' or any real guidance or active learning that was directed by CTC, only questions to research and regurgitate answers. It was uninspiring. The only growth I had was by observations from my own SLT, which you can arrange without doing a course. It was very 'tick box'. Only worth doing if you are required by your school to have the qualification. CTC also did not allow me access to my work less than a year after completion, citing 'archived. Disappointing for a large fee paid to do the course.”

Having had a chance to talk with the team, I thought it best to reply to some of the comments you have made. Firstly, 1-1 sessions are available to book in with your designated tutor. We always recommend booking an induction with your tutor before starting your course to explain how this works and run through the various support channels that are available to you.
Each learner has different requirements and we aim to provide a broad range of different support options so that we cater for all of these learning styles.
It's disappointing to hear that you felt that the support you would have valued was not available but I can assure you that had you reached out to us we would have been happy to point you in the direction of our expert team.
