“I'm sorry that I have to give a review star, I wouldn't give one. I signed up for the L3 AET course, since April, I submitted my assignment 10 times in units 1 and 2. It's non-communication, on me my teacher Angela Buick didn't help me at all. She kept telling me to look at her feedback and book with induction, no other help. In the end I gave up and lost £199 of money. I don't recommend this course at all.”

In this instance, we would like to come back to you on a few of the points you have raised as we do not believe that the comments you have made are fair.
You did indeed submit your assignment 10 times. 3 of these times it was the same attempt without any revisions, 3 times it was generated by Chat GPT and not your own work, which you admitted to using. In the remaining attempts, you were asked repeatedly to book some time and given pages of detailed feedback. None of which was taken on board.
We have tried time and time again to help get your work to a standard suitable to pass by our awarding bodies but unfortunately, the feedback we have provided has been ignored.
As you can see from our hundreds of other reviews, the support we offer to complete assignments through feedback and meetings, particularly from Angela is extremely positive.

“My payment was due, I assumed it was the 23rd not the 22nd, however, I had no reminder.
The payment as its coming from an account that I don't use often I need to put money in , in advanced.
So it didn't go out but i had no chance to pay the same day, which I could and so it would not even be a day late, They still removed my course, Yes
the payment was due today but its not even a day late and i'm ready with my card , now having transferred money to the account i'm using for this.
I'm so cross as they have not even given me a day to pay it, yet there is no way of paying it online.”

Thanks for taking the time to leave this review and sorry you have felt disappointed in the system we have in place for payments. We completely understand why you might have missed this payment if this wasn't a card that you normally use.
Just to make you aware, none of your course progress will be lost at all so it's not the case you would have to start again. You will be able to regain access to your course as soon as the payment is made/taken from your account.
I understand that on this occasion you found this system frustrating however this is unfortunately what we have had to put in place to ensure that when we offer instalment payments for the courses these are still taken during the course duration. Otherwise, as you can imagine, this can leave us carrying out services that have not been fully paid for.

“The level 3 TQUK for teaching was by far the most boring and frustrating course I have ever completed
The work was reading boring out dated PDF articles and watching videos that had terrible sound and then write assignments on what you read.
Nothing what so ever to do with teaching.
We are told that we need to show variety in our teaching methods, assessments methods, evaluations on every single thing yet the course itself is the same thing over and over again.

Tedious, repetitive and boring.
All I leant is that I do not want to go into teaching or do any further qualifications in that field.

“Absolutely terrible company, DO NOT BOTHER, you try your hardest to complete the module with no direct support from your “tutor” but then get nocked back every single assignment you submit they give you one thing to change, you change it and re submit then it takes them 6 weeks to re look at it to then say you have to change something completely different.
Oh and on top that they insinuate that you have used AI to complete some of your questions.
AVOID WITH ALL COSTS! You won’t ever receive the qualification.

Based on some of the statements you have made throughout the review, we have investigated this internally and feel the need to come back to you on a few of the points you have made.
Firstly in regard to the failed assignments, we use a tool at our business to check for AI-generated content. Unfortunately, we are seeing a rise in people using these types of tools to generate submissions. This is easily detectable and we simply will not accept these types of submissions, which was sadly the case for yours. It is obviously against the guidelines of our awarding body and more to the point, completely defeats the objective of taking the qualification, to learn and develop as individuals.
In regards to marking time, there was a period across the Easter break where we had many staff away on holidays where some assignments were not marked in our normal timeframe (around a week), but this was very much a temporary issue caused mostly by the bank holidays. We are happy to say that we now have 3 new staff hires to help cope with this seasonal demand!

original i was signed up on to a course through an organisation that then refused to pay for it, ctc were contacted within a month of payment and refused to refund me so i did the cousre any way as to not waist money
through the course i received no contact from any trainers, no support what so ever. upon sendign in my coursework i got a generic unhelpful answer from the assessor who marked it and rather than assisting me to complete the course got told i had faild to complete the course within the time limit, after i had been locked out of my account for 10 months and got no suport with coursework
the whole course seemes to be set up to boost sales of a book and not actually teach anyone anything. its a total scam”

Thanks for taking the time to leave this review. We are always keen to gather feedback to further improve our services to all learners. In this case, given the nature of this review, we have looked into this internally and feel the need to come back to you on a few of the points you have made.
Firstly, in regard to our refund policy, we are always able to provide refunds if the request is made within the cancellation period. If an organisation paid for this course on your behalf, we may not have been able to provide you yourself with a direct refund but would have been happy to provide this to the original payment provider.
You highlighted issues with feedback on assignments and we were very concerned to see this comment and so felt the need to check through this to check the quality of this. This is an area we truly value, invest in heavily as a business and want to ensure is kept of the highest of standards for all learners. We feel these comments are extremely unfair given that there was over two pages worth of feedback on your original assignments. Not one aspect of which was generic, but instead helpful pointers that guide you through the course in detail. The assessor went through every one of your answers on a point-by-point basis to help.
In regards to access to the course. As standard, you are given 12-month access to the course. We extended this multiple times for you in order to complete this free of charge. You originally signed up in 2020, it is now 2023.
Lastly, just regarding the comment you have made regarding a scam to push you to buy a book, this could not be further from the truth. We have had thousands of learners go on to complete their qualifications and advance their careers without ever needing to purchase the textbook we offer. We simply offer this at point of sale for anyone who feels like they would prefer the option alongside the many online materials we provide, but it is by no means mandatory and made very clear. This has only been made available in the last couple of months.

“I would not recommend this company for training. I have had numerous issues with their online system which has not enabled me to complete the course modules. This has been ongoing since 2019 and I have had to keep extending the course.
I informed the company of this by email on many occasions and they have ignored the issues.
The learning material did not open for me on their learning portal, I was told this can happen but was not given a resolution.
Upon raising a complaint they company were rude and offered no resolution.
I have been now left with no option but to review and warn others. Upon telling the company I would review them they tried to use scare tactics, warning me to be careful if I review them badly. I am unsure what they are implying by this. My response was I will give a honest review which I am entitlement to do.
I have completed many courses in the past up to degree level and have never had any issues or received such terrible training and support.
I am drawing a line under this and have lost the money for this course and will be now sourcing a reputable company to train with.
I’m sure the company will make its excuses, or even deny this happened, however there is no excuse not to support and provide learning materials to their students or to ignore emails when there are issues.”

As you can see from our hundreds of positive reviews, we take great pride in our learning platform and on going levels of learning support offered by our dedicated tutor team. In this instance, however, we feel this review is more likely aimed at the fact we had to fail certain assignments. Unfortunately, it was found that some assignments were flagged for plagiarism, copied from online sharing websites.
It is against our company policy and to accept these types of submissions, as well as our awarding bodies. Whilst there may well be some companies out there that would accept these types of submissions, we do not. The whole objective of learning with us is to develop individuals so that they are truly ready to take on their next role, whatever that might be and not simply a 'tick box exercise'.
