“I've just completed my first year as a contractor using Crunch Accounting and I'm really impressed. I was a little freaked out going it alone for the first time but they've been there to help me whenever I've needed it - even when I've had basic questions they've never made me feel stupid. I thoroughly recommend them to anybody becoming a contractor for the first time, and the software is very straightforward to use - if I do get stuck, my account manager responds within a couple of hours and at the weekends, and the Help Centre tutorials mean I can have a go at resolving issues and learning a bit more at the same time. It's the perfect balance of support and being in control of my accounts, and gives the reassurance that comes with that.”

“Crunch is a unique service and is far superior than the traditional accountant route that I have come across before. I have actually learned a lot about accounting and running my company finances by using this great piece of software. I have recommended it to several people to use for their finances too. Always quick to get a response with any questions I have had which has helped the learning process with the accounting process.”

“Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! Used crunch and paid extra for the premium service. The account was never reconciled. It took two months for my Self Assessment to be calculated and only after raising a formal complaint. They sent me the accounts for approval about 1 hour before the deadline and whilst I was on leave, no time to review. Turns out there were fundamnenal errors and the accounts must now be reworked (currently at my expense - they haven't yet agreed to refund the fees). One of the errors was that a salary payment was changed to a dividend and new dividends created for the other share holders. No dividend payment was made and yet they still claimed to have reconciled the account. I was never informed that any of this had taken place. I now have to rework the accounts, do battle with a recalcitrant crunch and migrate to another platform and accountant. All very time consuming and time that could have been better spent on my business. Advice: Source the cloud platform and the accountant service seperately. That way if there is a problem you only need to change one or the other.”

This sounds like an extreme situation which is unusual and so we’ll need to devote all resources in reviewing what has happened on your account. I understand that a complaint has already been logged and that it is in the hands of our most senior members of staff. With reference to there being fundamental errors, our Senior Technical Accountant has reviewed your accounts and is confident that they are correct based on the information in the account and our knowledge of your situation. We will review your concerns around salary and dividends as we understand that this can be confusing if not given appropriate advice with how to record these transactions. “I've been using Crunch for abut 18 months now and very happy with the software and the service. I have a dedicated account manager, Nick Lewis, who always gets back to me extremely quickly and is very lovely to deal with. Any time I have needed to speak with an accountant, I've either been able to get straight through or they've called me back. I was a little daunted by the accounting software when I first started but it is actually very simple and straightforward to use and, if I do have any queries, Nick is on hand to point me in the right direction or sort it for me. I would have no hesitation in recommending.”

“I was impressed how easy and quick it was to get my company registered and set up. It is also great to know that great service is easily accessible and always readily available just a phone call away making it a brilliant cost effective and stress free way to manage my accounts. “Crunch make running a business so much easier, queries are responded to quickly and in an easy to understand manner. The accounting online system is a joy to use, and it's easy to see at a glance current tax liabilities and dividends available. When I needed my year end accounts finalised for a mortgage application, Crunch produced them within a day! I hear some other accounting firms aren't as flexible or reliable and charge more for the service. I would highly recommend Crunch to any small business owners/freelancers/contractors, one less thing to worry about.”

“Although new to Crunch I find it very easy to use. The steps for each process are always clear and logical so I haven't had any major issues. The support line is great and our account manager Michael is always very helpful - despite our constant calls!! He goes above and beyond to assist us.”

“The people at Crunch have always been attentive to my needs and often over deliver with their service. My account manager Sian is on call and very pleasant to work with. As a relatively new limited company I often have questions and Crunch have never tired of explaining even the seemingly most obvious things. This review was prompted by recent exemplary service - The team were able to calculate and deliver my tax return documents within 90 minutes so that I could provide them to my mortgage application, this was outstanding. “To say the team is awesome and the service the very best you will find can turn into an understatement. The team at Crunch worked with me for a little over two years in helping me with my accounts and their commitment to service was flawless. 1. Software: To back it all up, they have invested a good load of time and money to come up with a software that is very efficient, easy to use and reliable. I work for a product based firm and have spent many a year in IT. So, I think I can tell a good product when I see one. 2. Team: A good software can only take you 40% of the way to a successful market share. It is the team that contributes the rest. The team at Crunch has come together very well as a family and it shows. It was hard for me to believe that they could do it all on a virtual basis without me having to walk into their offices. My doubts were put at rest within no time. Each Crunch'ian that I interacted with always made sure that I received the best service possible 3. Pricing: Very competitive. Impressive compared to the features they are offering in their service”
