I was given gift vouchers for a Hotel break. After looking on the site at what was available, I decided to book a break for myself and my wife. It was very straight forward following the instructions. I received confirmation that everything was dealt with immediately. Simple and easy. Now looking forward to the break!

We were given a hotel voucher as part of a celebration. The service from Country Hotel Breaks by telephone to achieve what we required has been excellent and very helpful. We highly recommend.

Very disappointing - booked a package deal but no bottle of Prosecco waiting in our room as promised .had to ask for it . Executive room was very small and we changed to another non executive room that was bigger . Couldn’t charge our drinks to the room as apparently we had no credit on file - no one asked for this at check in !!! Reception gut hat to bring us personally the Prosecco as no I else was available to do this . Check out was also annoying as we asked for a receipt which seemed to be a technical problem as the guy wasn’t authorized to do this ??? The bat man was not very attentive - although he served us drinks twice in the restaurant - we were basically. Ignored at the bar until we asked him if we had to come to the bar to order . Annoying that the pool area is not directly linked to the main house .

For an older person it was a very easy website to navigate would of liked to have known which room we had actually booked so I sent email & received my answer very quickly & very politely very good service

The staff at Country hotel breaks were very helpful. However the “5 or 6” steps into the restaurant are 15 steps up a steep incline!! Whilst a buggy can be called for, communication is v poor at the hotel. They suffered a big power cut last night so it’s no tv for 2 days and nights- no-one informing us of this either.

All went smotholy and I even checked out the authencity of the site by phoning the number and talked with the receptionist who reassured me of this. Contacted by the hotel to say that our booking had been accepted. Also, warning us that the Lounge carpet was being replaced on the first two days of our stay. Was this a problem? Nice to be forewarned and asked.

The enquiry and booking was dealt with in a friendly professional manner. I spoke to Mary on 2 occassions and she was very helpful in helping me with my booking. She had even been to the place I was interested in booking

Unable to pay online so I contacted your team. The lady who helped me was pleasant and listened to what I had to say. She made a number of useful suggestions. The problem was eventually resolved.

The Country House site offered a very good selection of offers,the site is so easy to use and the response to the booking was 1st class
