“The good: The price of the chair I bought was very competitive. The delivery was very quick; I thought I would be waiting for ages, but it was ordered late Thurs afternoon and delivered on Monday lunchtime. The bad: When I finished ordering the website didn't tell me I was successful, it went back to the basket and said there were no items, so I was worried it hadn't gone through properly. Emails went to spam folder and it took me a while to get to the bottom of it. I had to fit the arms to the chair myself, although it didn't say this on the item webpage. There were no instructions, it was not difficult to work out, just a little annoying.”

“Very prompt service. The product was well packed in a very sturdy box. Unfortunately the item, a table top drying rack, required the strength of a body builder to put together. To bend the locating wires, even using the leverage of a sturdy screwdriver, took mammoth strength. On the up side it won't ever fall apart!”

“The confirmation email took a while to come through, as it was a Saturday, I emailed, then phoned on Monday to check they had received order. They had and promised delivery in 3 or 4 days - it came in 2 so was delighted.”

“Bought a box of plastic shapes which was delivered as ordered and very quickly. Actually I was looking at an alternative to that behemoth, Amazon, and I will certainly buy stuff from Costcutters if possible in future. Got an e-mail about what to do if my chair isn't up to standard - I think because Costcutters used to deal exclusively in furniture. Made me smile. I will definitely try to make a chair from the plastic shapes and see how it stands up!”

Immediately emailed Alison Moylan, but as yet on 1 November had no reply from her regarding this matter. You ask for feedback and to inform you immediately a problem is known but appear over 10 days later to not act on it or simply reply to my email. Ainsley Cheetham”
