Buyer Beware ! Sitting here in my perfectly cooled office, I find it hard to remember the difficulties Ive had to endure over the last 3 weeks. I purchased a Comfee split air conditioner from this company and it was shipped without gas. The company refused to help or believe me and insisted on speaking to the engineer who commissioned the unit. Unfortunately this friend of mine was unwilling to give his F gas certificate number as he did not want his employer finding out he was doing jobs on the side. So beware, you will have to pay extra for a nitrogen leak test and for filling with R32 refrigerant. Its a shame because the air conditioning machine is very good.

Im sorry you feel this way and dont agree with the UK law but if you will not supply us an F-gas installation document or even let us speak to the installer then there is nothing else we can do. We did tell you we would be discrete and not even ask his name but you point blank refused. In this industry there are regulations we have to abide by. We are still more than happy to help you if your installer is willing to talk to us.

Delivery came in two parts Due to unknown reason but second part of delivery was dealt with expediantley when told of missing item. On opening accessories box items for drain (tubing) was missing Have cobbled together a make do pipe until I can locate a pipe locally. Advert suggested the AC was Toshiba but no Toshiba badging anywhere Only badge engineered generic labels so still not not aware of main manufacturers components.

Unfortunately things went wrong.... Admittedly, it was a very hot spell and coolers were in short supply. But our order was accepted and paid for and we were given a delivery date by a courier. We were then told our order was cancelled by text and to ring / contact another company name we had not even heard of to discuss. There was no clear phone number etc to do this, but there was a link... all very confusing.....It was all a pain in the bum, but we were refunded. I'm sure the company are ok and legit, but the processes wre a bit unclear.

I received my unit in the boxes sealed and when came out bottom part bent and scratched, unit is not fully installed yet.

Dear Customer As per my email to you this is clearly installation damage. I can tell you the bending of the unit is a bad fitting of the bracket, and im guessing the damage is where the installer placed the unit on a surface, as where the damage has occurred this is covers in 40mm polystyrene in the box. thank you

I was very happy with the communication i received from your sales via email and they were a great help in me buying a unit suited for my needs. But.... I damaged one of the pipes and had to source a replacement from you at £67. Then i note n my original invoice the one supplied (longer than the replacement) was on £24. I feel i was some what ripped off for the replacement. I did email a comment regarding this issue and of course there was no response.

Hi Ken the cost of the pipes on the original invoice is not a true indication of the price it is purley there as an item to pick (you will notice our website shows an all inclusive price for all the parts) as you can imagine everyone in the UK is emailing us looking for air conditioning any we are trying our best to reply to every email and phone call. I can assure you we have not ripped anyone off however if you still feel that way we are more than happy to refund you the full price should you wish to return the new pipes thanks Neil

I placed the order in good time and was promised delivery the next day, it didn't happen, I then received an email the following morning to apologise for the delivery a day late that didn't happen?? then when finally delivered 1 of the 4 packages was missing... grrr! another day passes..!! received the following morning.. not a happy chap. to be fair the guys at Cooleasy were very helpful, which is more than I can say for DPD that attempted to make the delivery...DPD, get your act together.... disgusting service.

I queried the product immediately after delivery, with customer services. They advised everything should be well. I then tried the unit, my worries were immediately realised. Again I contacted customer services, and was told I couldn't return the product, as I had used it. I then sold the unit on, fully informing the buyer with an accurate description of the products features. The description of the air conditioning unit was misleading, if not completely falsified. It didn't have an oscillating fan, it was extremely loud, and it certainly wasn't a Toshiba. But oh, possibly a Toshiba compressor.

Modified rapture (as G&S put it). It works, but is completely different to the picture of the one I ordered. That looked exactly like the old one. I think it's very expensive for a simple electronic device, but there we are. Quite frankly the postage and packing was extortionate. £12.50 for a Jiffy bag!

not very happy with after service charged £310 for call out to tighten one nut and refill coolant after some phoning round did get this reduced to £210 which I think is a rip off

Hi Steven, Im sorry you feel our service was overprices but its at least 3 hours driving, approx 3 hours work and £80 of refrigerant & £28 of Oxygen Fee Nitrogen for pressure testing. That works out at just over £33 per hour. Also the tools to get this type of job done is over £3000 worth.

Ordered PVC trunking but dimensions, crucially, the cross section was much smaller than advertised in the product listing. The product was therefore entirely unsuitable for my needs as I needed a minimum internal cross sectional area to accommodate extractor fan ducting. In fairness to CoolEasy, they investigated the issue quickly and it seems the manufacturer specification documentation was incorrect. There was no quibble offering a refund and they didn't put me through the hassle of having to return the goods. So, although my rating is given as poor as my requirements were not met, the way they dealt with the issue was satisfactory under the circumstances.
