“Received many quotes and one stood out from Pinciple Insurance. However, this had to be confimred on the telephone. When I called them the rate they offered was no where near what was quoted online through Confused. I suspect they give low rates to get the traffic through. Obviously did not opt for them but disappointed in the fact that they are allowed to promote themselves through Confused in the way that they do giving false rates.”
“Considering you say shopping around ,the prices are still very high , and tonuse my age and not my competence against me , is grossly not in accordance with free & impartial qoete, s .”
“The prices are competitive, however when you get a quote on a vehicle your interested in, unless you take the policy on the same day then the price can change.
This is slightly disappointing.”
“The van insurance could be way more cheaper. The current one after 6 yrs of NCB it's 1750 per year (paid in full not DD) and it's way too expensive for a new and little van... You need to make them offer cheap insurance because not all the insurances are really used, they are just to have a title in the MID and at the end of the year instead of being paid-back to not had any incidents, they raise the insurances... You don't get any discount because you are driving properly with no incidents at all... Insurances are a waste of money sometimes...”
“The top quote was from Sterling, who when phoned, said that they didn’t have all the details, even though they did. They then tried to inflate the quote by more than 30%.
They were aggressive and pushy and talked over anything I said. They then repeatedly phoned me for days and are still doing so. The firm is dangerous and they are damaging your reputation. You really need to drop them, before they bring you down with them.”
