“Not cheaper if anything 98% of the prices that came back were 50% plus more than my current insurance and not one cheaper than my renewal quote”

As we are a comparison website, we don’t calculate the prices you receive and these are all calculated and returned by our panel of insurance providers, based on the information you entered on our website. They work out the premium based on claims statistics gathered for others with similar details and some insurers do change their rates frequently. “Quote over £50 more than competitor. Understand that potential gift and free drinks worth that but comes with the hassle of redeeming every month. Glad the AA refused to insure me at Gold level which I wanted but ironically they would have let me have their Silver level ... their loss. Been with Confused.com for few years car insurance and home for some years but will be shopping around in future. Maybe they don't need my custom. Regards, unhappy customer”

“I chose Confused.com to renew my home (buildings) insurance. After sumitting a form about the property (just make sure you have all the property info to hand before starting). It took just a couple of minutes when I was able to view a list of policies suited to my requirements and at a reasonable price too...so I renewed with one of the insurance companies listed and after the sale I was offered to choose a reward...of which I still need to do. However, even without the reward I'd still recommend Confused.com and will definately use them again as the whole process was speedy...”
