“Car insurance, Yes it’s cheaper when you get a quote, but there’s missing areas. legal aid, break down, etc , add those up to compare to your current insurance and it’s not cheaper,”

They work out the premium based on claims statistics gathered for others with similar details and some insurers do change their rates frequently. “I have always used another well known comparison site for my insurance needs as they are usually cheaper but this year I have saved £100 on my annual policy compared to my quote from my insurer and the price also beat the best from that other comparison site by some way. Thank you.”

“Very good comparison site for Car Insurance. On this occasion they were more expensive than one other. Fairly easy to use. However when I went to take out Insurance on another Compare site the cheaper Insurance was not available even though I had put in my age 84yrs and a claim for damage to my car while parked. As I don't know who did the damage it is a My Fault claim. Also something to look out for before you buy... some Insurance had an endorsement.. didn't show up until I went to purchase 'Does not cover to drive another car on this Insurance' Most do 3rd party. Hence the cheaper price probably. I did not look into this on Confused .com”
