“Before buying i was a bit suspicious about the product. The price was very very low compared to our local market. In addition this was my first expensive transaction on ebay and i was afraid. I ordered and the next thing you know a guy called asking for verification..!!! This means responsibility and customer care.. The would not deliver my item without my confirmation.. Finally i received the laptop... what can i say... Totally satisfied. I would really like to thank the staff of compadvance..!!”

“Now, to be honest, I had some problems surrounding this order ... the computer has developed a hardware fault soon after delivery, and the bank kept blocking my card because it was an "unusual purchase". However, I don't feel (at least, so far!) these were anything to do with CompAdvance themselves. Time will tell if I have to deal with claiming a refund and how good they are with that... But, otherwise, what little service I've had from them (ordering a thing over the internet and it coming from a courier doesn't make for much interaction!) has been good. Decent price, cleared up some confusion over the exact warranty period both by email and by correcting the relevant webpage within 24 hours when asked, pretty quick delivery and everything at least *arrived* in a well packaged and basically pristine condition with no missing or broken parts. They use a decent courier as well; I ordered a hard disk (a type CA don't currently carry) from another company at the same time... they used Yodel instead... it took twice as long to turn up, including what appears to be one "missed delivery" to my (open 24/7 with a security booth) workplace. CA's just did the job right first time. If things go wrong re: RMAs and all that, I may come back and try to knock a star or two off, but otherwise nothing to fault at this point.”
