“Compadvance were great throughout my purchasing experience. The item I ordered was at a great price, when delivered so far it’s worked well and is in good condition. There were some issues relating to delivery due to the stock not coming into compadvance when it was expected, but they kept me updated throughout and provided me with alternative options the whole way through. I would recommend compadvance to others.”

“Having a ten year old Compaq desktop computer, which still worked well but was very slow running windows 10 (bought as Vista), I looked at a new build until I found HP renew desktops from CompAdvance in April 2018. Their prices were very competitive (I would struggle to buy the parts to compete) and their reviews were very good. Their website was promising, with an excellent selection of machines for my purposes (internet, office, photo processing and music mainly). My spec was a decent sized case (not slimline!), either Intel core processors, (better spec i3 or preferably an i5) or an AMD chip (the better A8 or preferably A10) with 8GB of RAM, 1TB Hard Drive. Most come bundled with Windows 10 and Wi-Fi. I checked the benchmarks of their processor offerings and rejected the A9 processors as being too slow. Their machines are sourced from several countries with different keyboard layouts. My final choice was UK sourced and had the QWERTY keyboard but be aware that some have European keyboards, however I have spare keyboards and this would not have been a problem for me. Their Easter sale of 10% discount was the icing on the cake. I ordered on Friday evening to take advantage of the discount and delivery was excellent, in 2 working days. The machine was well packed. The computer was “as new” in every respect with a new keyboard and mouse. I deleted HP bundled McAfee and Office 365 and set up both Avast and Office 16 (Office 365 is subscription and expensive) and I was good to go. What a difference using a fast processor and 8GB RAM !! You may have to go onto the HP website and enter your model codes to update the warranty but this takes about 10 minutes using online chat and will be confirmed after a few days in notifications. An “as new” HP desktop with an Intel core processor for a fraction of the new price. It sits on my desk; the fans and HDD are whisper quiet and unobtrusive. Would I buy from Compadvance again and would I recommend them, YES, most definitely.”
