“Adrian Morley was a breath of fresh air and very entertaining. We’ve heard most of the Rugby Union stories so it was great to be introduced to a new world of league. He carried out all we asked of him and spoke at length to club members before and after the dinner answering questions. Well done.”

“Jamie Sutherland delivered a hilarious stint at our recent black tie dinner event. He was down to earth and engaged the audience immediately. His stories rung true with everyone and the room was filled with laughter. It is always difficult to get the balance right between humour and political correctness but Jamie did just that. He was hugely funny and didn't upset anyone in the room! A great achievement all round! We'll definitely use After Dinner Speakers and Comedians again. For two years running they have suggested the perfect comedian and all arrangements are seamless. Thank you!”

“New Brighton Rugby Club held a Sports Dinner on 24th May 2019 and I booked David Trick as one of my guest speakers, he was terrific, funny wihtout vulgarity and charming to boot! For a change the cost wasn't prohibitive as many, so called, sports personalities out-price themselves from struggling grass-roots rugby clubs which is a shame! I would certainly recommend using "After Dinner Speakers & Comedians Ltd" excellent service!”

“We booked Bruce Grobbelaar and within a week the venue was sold out. Bruce didnt disappoint and was the talk of our Town days after the event. Our comedian was Lenny Dee who was booked separately and who I have booked before for these events. The two combined terrifically and look forward to booking the next speaker through your company....”

“We booked two speakers for our Gala Dinner from After Dinner Speakers and Comedians, they were both sublime! Roger Dakin, who we booked the first time we held this event two years ago, was a perfect M.C for the night, with his engaging stories, hilarious anecdotes and seamless running of the various auctions. He is the first thing we book when we organise this event. Andy Goode was a perfect fit for us. He is down to earth, has excellent stories and works really well with the crowd. He bought in to the night and we would highlight recommend him. The service and support we got from all involved in the booking and communication was faultless and we will continue to book all our speakers and M.C's through you. Thank you so much.”

“Bruce Grobbelaar was the guest speaker at our 3oth anniversary dinner and he was simply outstanding. Over the last 30 years we have had some of the best after dinner speakers including Tommy Docherty, Paul Fletcher, Ian St John, Denis Law, Frank McClintock to name but a few but by common consensus Bruce was one of the best. He was extremely professional and witty and nothing was too much for him as he signed autographs and posed for pictures and selfies. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to any football club or business organisation as a speaker. He was funny without being crude and a trememdous ambassador for Liverpool FC. We intend booking him for another event next year with a different audience Thanks to After Dinner Speakers and Comedians for sorting out Bruce's arrangements! Top man Mark!”

“I contacted After Dinner Speakers and Comedians after seeing them on the internet. Having spoken to them on the telephone & explaining that we wanted a comedian & what our budget was they kindly sent me some clips of suitable comedians. After watching the clips I decided on Ian Richards. Ian attended our Sportsman's Dinner, working with Terry Butcher & was absolutely fabulous. An extremely funny man & very professional in his manner, even taking note of some off our Top Table conversations & bringing them into his act. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any event.”

“The service I have received from After Dinner Speakers and Comedians has been really good indeed and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone. Paul Boardman was the comedian and was excellent. He hit just the right tone and had everyone in the room roaring with laughter. I have already recommended him to another group who are organising a dinner. Graham Rowntree was the sports speaker. I found him personable and laid back. He spoke well and included some behind the scenes stories from his playing days. I would like to have heard more about his recent experiences as a coach as he has worked and played for the British and Irish Lions and England and it was this area that I think a lot in the room would have loved to hear more about.”

“The service as a whole was very efficient and all staff with whom I dealt were professional, courteous and responded to all queries in a timely manner. Billy Wheadon was an exceptional fit for our event. His contribution was brilliant and he really made the event sparkle - his cheeky material was just the ticket and he left the audience wanting more. We had a mixed audience of males and females all of whom thoroughly enjoyed Billy's interludes throughout the evening and provided superb feedback about the atmosphere he created and the laughs he gave us. I couldn't recommend him highly enough for any "sportsman's dinner" or similar event. I have no doubt that we will look to book Billy's services again for an event at Stratford-upon-Avon RFC!”
