“Pete Emmett never disappoints, although his material perhaps could do with refreshing (one of our guests commented that they had heard the same storoes for the last three years, however they were still funny). Pete was the perfect compare and kept the evening alive with his dry wit and audiance participation but importantly organised the order of the events more efficiently.”

“Some years ago i used After Dinner Speakers and Comedians to book speakers and comedians for various dinners and social events that I was organising for Bolton Hospice. Recently I had need for a comedian for a Masonic Dinner event where I was expecting some 85 guests. Having had excellent service in the past I went back to After Dinner Speakers and Comedians with my requset for a comedian. Even though this was fairly short notice I was offered a choice of three comedians which included Martin Gold. As I had booked Martin in the past I immediately made him my choice and confirmed this with ADS & C. The whole booking process was simple and quick with email confirmation being received in good time for me to publicise who our comedian would be. Many of our potential guests already had experience of Martin's act so I am delighted to say that bookings doubled almost overnight. On the night Martin joined us for dinner, which I am sure he enjoyed, and it was good to chat with him in an easy and relaxed manner. As we expected Martin did a very well received spot where I believe all present enjoyed his presentaion and style. Unlike several other comedians Martin's act is totally clean, which our guests really appreciated. At the end of the night we received many plaudits about the evening and especailly about Martin. Would I book Martin Gold again - most certanly! Would I use After Dinner Speakers And Comedians again - most certainly!”

“Dean Windass and Barry York came to moorlands cricket club and went down a treat. Dean is a proper down to earth guy and honest as the day is long. Had some great stories to tell. Barry absolute great comedian one of the “ old fashioned “ type comedians. Very very funny. Can’t go far wrong booking these two”

“We booked Barry York to provide the laughs for our pre-match hospitality luncheon last Saturday and he went down really well. Great jokes delivered superbly. Cheeky humour that never stepped beyond the playful. A really endearing performance for our mixed audience with quite a broad age range (20s to 70s). Will definitely be booking Barry again.”

It gives you peace of mind to know that you are using an experienced and trusted company. Our speakers (Mark Crossley, Dean Windass and Lea Roberts) gave us one of our best ever dinners and helped us raise some much needed funds for our mental health football initiative. Feedback from our attendees has been amazing, it's brilliant when the guests are not just funny, but great individuals too. “Can't recommend Lea Roberts and Mark Crossley enough both fantastic at what they do. Not only did they both have us howling with laughter they also helped us to have one of our best and biggest fundraising nights ever. Without Gentlemen like these grass roots sports would not survive.”
