Pete Emmett was recommended to me, as the host for our Christmas lunch this year ... What a brilliant host/comedian he is, would recommend to anyone, to book his services, via After Dinner Speakers.”

“Lea Roberts performed at our bar in Hartlepool called PLACE TO BE and he was hilarious. It was a mixed crowd, young and old and everyone had a brilliant night listening to him. Very highly recommended if you want a good night.”

“Lea Roberts performed at our wedding 11/11/23 and had 200 guests howling with laughter, with children present he cleverly adjusted his performance without losing any of his punch, he read the audience like a book, brilliant performance. The next day I had text messages from friends and family saying how they enjoyed the day and especially the comedian. Thank you Lea, you delivered more than we could of asked for 👍 Michael and Paula Rhodes”

“Connection, that’s what Lea has with the audience. I’ve seen Lea perform several times now and he is very talented at reading the room and understanding what makes his audience tick and what will entertain, amuse, and make them laugh. I’ve recommended Lea be booked many times as you can rely on him to be professional, assist where needed and most importantly, give people a blumming good time and give them a pleasant escape from everyday life. Lea is gifted in observing everyday situations and turning them into funny material. I’ve seen him make thousands of different people laugh over the years, local people and people not local, business people, sports lunches with older gentlemen and sports dinners with younger men, right through to a fundraiser afternoon tea where the audience was mainly ladies over 30.”

“Mark was superb from start to finish , he called me on the morning to confirm details, turned up promptly and was extremely approachable and entertaining all day . He played golf with us and after dinner delivered a brilliant after dinner talk . The guests attending thoroughly enjoyed the evening and after he took questions and time to speak at all the tables. Excellent and professional. I would recommend to all.”

“We booked Dennis and Lea through AFD. As well as being easy to deal with the guys were fantastic. Lea asked about the audience and pitched his jokes perfectly- we’ve never had such a good atmosphere. Dennis complemented this with his mixture of stories and jokes.”
