“As usual Pete Emmet gave us a great evening finishing off a final annual dinner for myself and giving all of the guests a good smile to end the evening”

“Lee was great. From the moment he walked in he was very friendly, happy to have a chat with anyone. I think he really enjoyed the evening. He was very funny, not lewd or obscene, but he had some great stories to tell. I've not heard a bad word about the evening, so Lee helped to make the whole evening a great success. I would thoroughly recommend Lee.”

“Used the agency on numerous occasions always dealt with promptly and never been let down. Lea Roberts was our comedian last week at the Bradford Union Golf Dinner. We have had Lea before and asked him back due to his popularity, he didn't disappoint and I would recommend him to anyone.”

“We booked Mick Miller for a 50th Birthday, the party was special enough but having Mick there took it to another level. Only a few people knew he was the special guest. He raised the roof on his entrance, it was an evening I will never forget. Guests were still contacting us a week after thanking us for the wonderful night. Mick was just as you expect, FUNNY, and generous with his time after his set. Steve was great at keeping us updated and confirming everything before the night Booking a comedian like Mick for the party was the best decision we made! Thank you again”

“Mick Miller - The Workboat Association after-dinner speaker. The service of After Dinner Speaker and Comedians was faultless, the price was good and the duration of speaking was as per expectation. Mick himself worked hard to keep the audience engaged and in good spirits, he understood which jokes they enjoyed and which jokes they didn't - using this to steer his act. We have used this company for a number of years and will continue to do so in the future.”

“Thank you and thanks to John Stiles who entertained us at our AGM/Black Tie Dinner. John was easy company at dinner, engaging with us all at the table. He was his own man but was happy to celebrate his famous father, Nobby. The resonance of the current World Cup was appreciated by all in the room. His after-dinner 'toast to the society' was warmly received and enjoyed. I received much appreciative feedback from members who felt at ease and entertained, especially at such a time when there has not been much to even smile about - Ukraine, Pandemic etc. Thank you John for helping us all to laugh out loud.”

“Martin was a little late arriving at the venue, which gave me palpitations. These were soon overcome when he did arrive. “After Dinner Speakers and comedians were very helpful throughout the booking process and kept us informed when through no fault of their own, circumstances changed. Very accessible and always responded quickly to communication. Our speaker was Andy Powell, who was excellent. He engaged with the audience throughout the evening, not just when he was delivering his speech. He also held a question and answer session later in the night. Would highly recommend Andy as an after-dinner speaker, his stories and general sense of humour makes him ideal for any gentlemen's evening/club dinner.”

Dean was superb taking, us back through his illustrious career and all the stories from along the way, and Billy was one of the funniest guys I have seen finishing the night of style with his unique style of comedy. “Lea Roberts was the speaker/comedian for Middlesbrough Insurance Institute Centenary Dinner. Lea has previously been our speaker so we were aware of his quality. On this occasion, he delivered a fantastic routine to a professional audience, Lea reads the room superbly and seamlessly moves from a variety of subjects. As well as being a lovely fella, his humour hits the spot across all ages. We would gladly rebook him and recommend him to other institutes.”

“British Parking Awards 2022 Royal Lancaster London The 20th annual awards ceremony for UK traffic and parking management sector was hosted by Kerry Godliman. Kerry was a brilliant host. She immediately connected with the audience, delivering a laugh out loud funny set before compering the awards ceremony with wit, humour and a growing sense of connection with the recipients. She was great to work with during the rehearsals, running through the script, asking great questions and liaising with the show designer and AV team to hit the marks set up for a dynamic digital screen presentation. And at the end of the ceremony she made time for a long line of fans waiting for selfies and to meet someone they really treasured. Kerry was the latest in the long line of excellent hosts secured with the help of the team at After Dinner Speakers and Comedians. Recent hosts have included Marcus Brigstocke, Lucy Porter, Dr Xand van Tullekin, Shappi Khorsandi, Hal Cruttendan, Ade Adepetin, Debra Stephenson and the Revd. Richard Coles. Every host we use is described by our guest as 'the best one yet!'”
