Very shocked and disappointed to be charged £629 for an oil service on a three year old S Cross (just out of warranty ) with only 15k on the clock, for a slight leak on a gearbox seal involving three hours labour for a £25 part! As impending pensioners I think we will be trying a Kia , Hyundai or Dacia for our next car, I thought better of cheap n cheerful Suzuki .

Hi Tim, We’re sorry to hear you were unhappy with the cost of the service and repairs to your S-Cross. All requirements and costings are explained to customers in advance of any work being carried out and any additional issues found whilst at the dealership will have been reported to you via the video health check which is supplied on each visit. We do try our best to tailor servicing to meet individual needs by taking into consideration the age and mileage of each vehicle along with the manufacturer’s recommendations. We would be more than happy to discuss what we can do to minimise the cost of your next service and look at any other options available to you. We have just purchased a used Suzuki Baleno from the Colin Appleyard Ashton dealership and the process was easy and friendly from start to finish. Ami Sanders was very helpful and professional throughout. We also got a good part-ex price for our old car. We would certainly recommend this dealership.

Bought our second car from the Ashton branch. Got a deal that suited me and found the staff as always to be very friendly and helpful. Ami kept me informed throughout the process which was completed in a week from purchase to collection. She is very knowledgeable, polite and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for her. My wife even got some chocolates from her. We came back to Colin Appleyard's as we found them excellent when we purchased our first car. We also use them for servicing and again the service is excellent. Can't recommend them enough if your looking to buy a Suzuki or Subaru or have your car serviced.

We were recently informed that our new car had arrived, a Suzuki Ignis in part exchange for our 3 year old Suzuki Vitara. The deal had been agreed at the Ashton branch in February this year so it was quite a moment for us after waiting so long. On arrival, we were invited to view the car and to sit in it before being given a list of registration numbers to choose from. We were happy with the car and chose a memorable number. We then had to wait a little while before being shown into the manager's office to be told that we needed to pay an additional £1300 on top of the agreed and signed for balance due. To say we were astounded would be an understatement as we'd been told when ordering that the balance due was guaranteed regardless of any changes such as increased mileage. Firstly, why bother to have a signed order form with an agreed balance due in the first place. Secondly, why so cruelly drop the bombshell at the last minute after allowing us to travel to the showroom, view the car etc Although they dropped the increase by £300, to find an unexpected additional £1000 was beyond us so we had no choice but to get our deposit back and walk away. I could never do business with these people again as I can not abide dishonesty. I feel disrespected, deceived and almost like the victim of a cruel joke. I was tearful for the rest of the day.

Visited Colin Appleyard on Canal Road Bradford to get some service parts for my Swift, and while I was there, ask about availability of other, non service parts. As always, very friendly, helpful staff, who have a great knowledge of their cars and parts. Highly recommended dealership.

My much loved Suzuki was due its first service. I booked a collection service from work. Very convenient and excellent value at £10. The whole experience was faultless and efficient from start to finish and all staff I dealt with were great. Love the video report of the service work carried out, very reassuring.
