“Awful customer service. My box never arrived and I was charged for it. I contacted them via Twitter and they gave me some very unclear (and condescending) spiel about how it would be a few days after the next month because of when I signed up so I waited for over a month... was charged again for the next period - still no box. Requested to cancel any pending orders (if they were actually ever going to send my box!) and for full refund - which they did process quickly (although they never replied to my email to tell me the refund had been actioned).”

“My first (and probably last) experience with Cohorted has been terrible! My box was delayed, customer service team (spoke with Connor) only bother to reply back to you when they want and just give one liner replies. When I finally did get my box I had an item missing. 3 items for £35 is a joke! I will not hesitate to use social media to express my frustration until I get a response with an acceptable resolution! Save your money do NOT sign up to this!”

“Of the two months I was subscribed, both boxes have arrived significantly later than promised. The October box had an error, where the original eyeshadow planned had been replaced by the selfie powders however the booklet still named the eyeshadow palette. This box also arrived without a ribbon etc and rather battered. The company also withdrew the money for novembers box early, which promoted me to cancel. The November box arrived today, again late, and was actually missing one of the products promised in the booklet. I have emailed customer services to let them know but doubt very much, given the service so far, anything will be done about this careless error. Annoyed doesn't begin to cover the feeling you're left with this subscription seevice”

“I have been a cohorted subscriber for two months and for both boxes delivery has been severely delayed, products not that great for what is sold as a premium beauty box - of all the subscription beauty boxes Cohorted is the most expensive but not really worth the money! I wouldn't subscribe - stick to LF Beauty box and Birchbox, well worth the money and they always arrive on time!”

“I was extremely excited to receive my Cohorted Beauty Box in the post. There's just something about receiving something all wrapped up and.it being a surprise. I loved the too faced eyeshadow palette. I loved all the hair oils and sprays, but I would have personally loved more makeup based product's. However all in all the October box was a.great box,especially for my first box.”

“This company is a scam. They've taken money out of my account on the 30/9 then again on the 1/10 for the October box. Never received it. Then they took money again for November. Alarm bells started ringing and emails were sent and remained unanswered and unacknowledged. I cancelled my subscription and contacted my bank. I'm overseas and they accepted To order took my money but now I read on another thread that they don't ship overseas. Why accept the address then!?! I also checked on the companies register and see that someone has applied to be struck off the register. This was on the 20/9/2016 so cancel your subscriptions!!!!”

“I got the Corhorted box back in August and September of this year. I wasn't too impressed with the August box, but was pleased with the September edition. While some of the products are an old style, you do certainly get your money's worth. I've seen past boxes and they looked fab, which is what drew me to the company. The full size products you get are definitely worth the money.”

“I really like the black edition box. Most of the products are really good and it gave me the opportunity to explore new brands. However, I do consider that sometimes they advertise in their booklet different sized products than they are in the box. For instance they advertised a full mascara and gave a single use sample. I would like to be honest about this part. Apart from this, I really look forward to my every month box.”

“The company charges £70 a month NOT £35. They do not state this and try to charge you twice a month. However they do deliver good quality products that are all together worth over £70.”

“Had two boxes up to now. Enjoying the product selection, high end and great brands. Makeup is my main passion so would love to see more of it in future boxes. Bit dissatisfied with October delay but can live with it as long as it's not repeated.”

“It's difficult.. a couple of the boxes I really liked, and found the contents useful.. some others were pretty much useless. For example I received anti-frizz hair sheets.. I don't have frizzy hair so these went in a drawer. I wasn't fond of the colours in the eye shadow palette I received as they don't suit my skin tone/eye colour.. I wish they did customer surveys to find what really suits the customer and chose the contents from there.. I am looking around for another beauty box at the moment as being happy 'sometimes' isn't good enough for the price I pay.”

“Whilst I've been generally happy with the contents of my first 2 boxes, they have both been dispatched several days late. It is a luxury treat and really needs to at least meet expectations if not actually exceed them. I agree with one other lady's comment about the balance between makeup and skincare/haircare products - more makeup please and not just eyeshadow palettes.”

“Last two boxes arrived late with no ribbons or cards inside was not over Whelmed by Sep box I'm not a great lover of eye shadow and the colours were not me. In draw for a pressie to someone birthday. For the amount you pay would have think there would be questions of your style and likes. Whatingbto see what arrives this month to make up my mined if I will carry on with my box s”
