“My first Cohorted box has left me somewhat underwhelmed! I waited in anticipation for my beautifully wrapped box of high end products and what I found was just a bit an anti-climax! While the NARS palette was nice, the beautiful design was lost with the first swatch and its now just a blurry mix of colours which doesn't really last too well on the eye. The ovali brush was good. The Smith & Cult nail varnish is in lovely packaging but the colour was not great nor has it staying power. Now I am torn, do I cancel my subscription now or give Cohorted the benefit of the doubt and wait another month?”

“I have tried to contact cohorted for well over half a year by now and never actually had any success and never had any reply other than autogenerated emails. I have emailed, called and facebooked them, no replies or help. It is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I mean hey, even scam companies have a better reply rate! I have been over charged and the last box came to me in a terrible state, with nail polish leaked out over all the other products. The products themselves are highs and lows, other than being sticky from a horribly unflattering hue of yellowish skin tone. Good brands, but often really old items which very often is for sale at tk maxx at the same time or soon after boxes arrives. That, combined with the often almost bizzare poducts (anti frizz wipes. Seriously? Its pretty much baby wipes in oil.) makes me feel like Cohorted buys up whatever dumpster of branded old unsold dead stock and spices it up with something more or less unheard of, often in a hard to wear, hard to sell, shade. Good customer service is really essential for an online company today, I have experience with a multitude of beauty boxes by now, and Cohorteds respect and attention to their customers is by far the worst.”

“The Ovali brush was a great addition and really made the box alongside the Nars palette which is stunning. Having seen previous boxes that have had 5 high end make up products in, I was a little disappointed with the skin care samples and hair wipes, but that is just personal preference as these were always the things that I ended up not using from other subscriptions.”

“It is the best beauty box out there for sure. It has amazing brands, I am really happy of the make-up products I receive. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is because sometimes there are too many hair and nails products. I am more into make up, but overall I am a huge fan..You're the best!!!”

“Great assortment of (quality) brands I don't find in the usual places I shop in. The box also contained actual make-up (and one fab beauty tool I wouldn't otherwise have tried), which is what I want from a subscription box. Everything I received was perfect. Incredibly good value for the price.”
