“I reached out for information about the 11+ mock exam for test preparation in September 2024. Typically, mock exams are taken in the summer term of Year 5 or the autumn term of Year 6. I was informed that it’s already too late for a Year 5 student to participate in the 11+ mock exam. This response was unexpected and seemed unusual to me..”

It is absolutely not too late for a Year 5 student to participate in our mock exams. We understand how important accurate information is during this critical preparation period, and we deeply regret the misunderstanding. The confusion may have arisen from a mix-up with our Year 5 Eleven Plus classes. Due to the proximity to the actual exams, we typically do not accept new Year 5 students into these ongoing classes, as the intensity and pace may be challenging for students who are not accustomed to our program. However, our mock exams are specifically designed to be inclusive and beneficial for all students, whether they are part of Cohort Tuition or coming from other institutions. We believe in providing every student the opportunity to prepare thoroughly for their exams. We would be delighted to assist you in enrolling your child in our mock exams. “They are slow to response over the phone, didn't mention any email id. The most important that they lack the teaching staff from different ethnic background...it just one community everywhere. Should promote equality.”

Dear Anonymous, We are extremely sorry you feel we are slow to reply over the phone. We assure you we have robust procedures in place to ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a timely fashion. If however you phoned our offices and all staff were busy on the phones, you would have been prompted to leave a voice message if nobody was able to answer your call. In this specific scenario, unless you had left a voice message, we would not know to call you back. In relation to lacking teaching staff from different ethnic backgrounds, we would vehemently disagree with this statement. At Cohort Tuition, we are extremely proud to have our family of tutors and students come from all walks of life.
