“The shipping experience was my biggest qualm with the process. I had paid for the expedited shipping and ended up waiting much longer for the shoes. When I would get in contact with customer service, they weren’t very easy to get a hold of and when they replied it was not very possible to have a conversation. Even when I had inquired about the shipping question, Oscar just gave me a refund. I wasn’t going to even ask for one. I just wanted to know what the expectation was with shipping, or if maybe I was the one who misunderstood something. Overall the buttons on the emails don’t work like the “track package” button. The phone number to call customer service also does not work. I understand and acknowledge how far the shoes are shipping from— I don’t have a problem with that, it was more the treatment that I did not appreciate. With all of this being said, I’m sure Oscar is a wonderful person, and even though his solution was premature and impulsive, it was still a solution nonetheless which is to be appreciated. The shoes quality is impressive. I am very happy with my purchase and I look forward to purchasing more shoes from cobbler union. I hope they do well enough that they open more stores in the United States so that I could visit them and enjoy the wonderful craftsmanship. Thank you for being my first pair of serious dress shoes.”
“This is my 2nd pair of CU shoes.... Really solid value for the price! I did have a small hiccup this time where I placed an order for 2 pairs of shoes, was told they were en route from Spain, and then had both pairs cancelled on me for lack of availability. A week later I checked the site and 1 of the 2 colorways were showing available in my size still, so I ordered again and they were shipped. Glad that I looked so I could buy them ;)”
“I was a little suprised at how long it took to receive the items. I first thought these boots were in stock, but I was informed they would need to be made. I did like the feedback I recieved, and I was also grateful the boots were shipped with UPS. In terms of fit, the boots are a little tight, but the quality of leather is impressive and I look forward to purchasing another pair of boots through Cobbler Union.”
“Dear Cobbler team, I was contacted to receive my parcel. However, I am required to pay an amount of 190€ for customers duties. Therefore, I had to refuse the delivery. At the time of my order, I was not informed by your company of such huge amount adding to the price (more than 1/2 of the price). Please advise on this matter. I require a refund of the amount paid. You may wish to deduct the cost of return. I am very disappointed by this lack of information from your end leading to a major misunderstanding.
