Phoned today to add a driver, spoke with Lauren who was very professional and honest about cost etc. Alway found them very easy to deal with what I would say is the annual renewal never seems decrease would consider going elsewhere on cost alone. Don't get other reviews that say they never answer phone, in 9 years of being a customer always got through when needed to

No one answers the phones ....ever ! Whether for an annual renewal of to update vehicle MID...no one answers the phones. What would happen in the case of having to submit a claim ! Its becoming such a concern that we are considering take our business elsewhere. Shocking ! Even at the time of our policy renewal in July we were forced to take all our policy documents away with us on holiday as 'no one answered the phone' for 3 days of trying pre-renewal. Can't confirm vehicles updated on MID have been accepted so we are now unable to confirm that we may be driving some vehicles illegally as we are unable to check their status. Been with CG a long time but we have our business to run and feel its time to consider moving elsewhere for insurance.

On the 29/8/2019 I made a phone call to clegg Gifford ,I spoke with a young lady by the name of Emma Alter I explained to her that I was at NSL trying to get my cab plated but they failed it on the insurance cert that I had Emma got right on the case ,in no time Emma not only had the situation resolved but also the new certificate emailed across to me so I could print it out and present it back to NSL Emma was professional and patient as you can imagine my frustration ,the issue I fact was that NSL had changed some of there procedures and myself plus many others I have since found out were not aware Thank you Emma you deserve the 5* Ms johnson

Shocking company. Nobody answers the phone,and then you either get someone thick or rude,ive spent £18 thousand pounds the last two years and I cant even change a vehicle on my motor trade policy.

Designed by fault insurance. Not in favour of customer. Quotes are pointless as once you accept they analyse your circumstances and target the negatives and invoice extras.(honesty gets you nowhere) Then they never answer promptly. The amount they invoiced me extra was an instant figure. The amount owed to cancel was not. Once they rang back the next day to inform me of my cancellation amount it was half it should be, once challenged it took another day. They cancelled the policy immediately once I said I no longer required it as it was now more than my previous policy haha. Anyway 1 week later still no credit !!! All 1 way. WARNING DO NOT USE. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

I have just had a small problem sorted by a lovely lady called Lesley Tabner. Not only was she able to sort the problem out but she was lovely and friendly too, nothing was too much trouble. I feel she is a credit to the Company and you should be proud of her.

Not easy to get to on the phone. Once I did get to speak to Pal Dave things were dealt with fairly easily. Probably better to communicate by email rather than phone if you want an answer to anything.
