Worked here for 8 years for Shirley Bellamy I had to leave because of her constantly putting me down saying nasty things constantly I would not advise working here especially because of her everyone else who worked there were lovely shame I had to go because of one person.

Staff are very helpful but after I received my renewal which was over £300 dearer than last year. I went on a comparison website and found 3 cheaper quotes in under 10 minutes.

Terrible, terrible company. Lied to me constantly, either that or one department does not talk to the other and is in dire need of retraining - one person tells me one thing to give me positivity then someone else contradicts that info, and in effect since Jan, absolutely nothing has been achieved and when i ask for details to chase this case myself i am refused info and given vague answers.

I didn't think my stress levels could reach this high. Still waiting for a claim to get sorted from January after a police car hit me. Disgusting people/insurance brokers with no consideration for their customers. It's been the worse experience with an insurance company in 30 years of driving. Constant patronising and lack of interest in getting my case sorted. I wouldn't insure a pencil sharpener via them. There should be regulations in place to stop this. 100% if they were waiting for money from me then the case would be resolved a lot, lot quicker. Avoid this company at all costs. Date of experience: 28 January 2022 I am assuming you use reviews.io in the staff email signatures because you can’t put trust pilot or google reviews since they are the most honest and reflect the true feedback for Clegg Gifford (very bad) whereby reviews for review.io are sent to those that you know will give good feedback. Again, highlights what type of company Clegg Gifford truly is.

My second car insurance with Clegg Gifford who i have been with for many years now & Tyller Gull give me an excellent quote which i took out with them smashed the renewal quote from the other company good service

Disappointed to find the insurance policy ends at 12pm rathe than the usual 12am as most other insurance policies. Renewal commenced at 12am so ended up with a lapse in insurance of 12 hours which meant I was unable to work for the day (Saturday!) I’ve always known insurance polices to end at 23:59 making the renewal simple as that begins at 00:00 leaving no gap.

Lorraine White sorted out our motor trade insurance today. Alex Grant was sorting it out. But i paid the deposit, emailed him, heard nothing. Emailed again. The insurance ran out today. I just managed to renew before it run out with the help of Lorraine White. Alex emailed this morning telling me i had to ring renewals. Even though he had been sorting this out and i paid the deposit last week.
