I have been trying to make contact for several days by phone - many times waiting in excess of 30 minutes before giving up. I have tried calling new business - always a surefire way of getting hold of someone - to be told they can't help and I have to go back into the loop and once again wait an excessive time, and give up. I've decided to cancel policy and I can't even get hold of them to cancel my policy - it's shocking! It has to be said, I used to receive an excellent service but, over the last 12-18 months contact has become abysmal and although many matters can be resolved online, sometimes you do need to speak to a person, preferably within 30 minutes......

I am a broker and have been dealing with Andrew Baker. I required an urgent quotation due in a matter of days and i received a very comprehensive and swift service from him. I really appreciated the level of service I was provided with and look forward to further dealings with Andrew and Clegg Gifford.

I spoke to Olivia Goodwin with regards to outstanding documents on my policy, she was very helpful and helped me by resending all the information I was required to send to Clegg Gifford to keep my policy in order. I was already very happy with the quote and now even happier with the customer service as this is a key area that we as customers appreciate more than is mentioned in these times of technology. I spoke to John Coleman with regards to outstanding documents on my policy, he was very helpful and helped me sort out all the missing information I had missed. I was already very happy with the quote and now even happier with the customer service as this is a key area that we as customers appreciate more than is mentioned in these times of technology. Customer service always seemed uninterested. I was with Clegg Gifford for 3 or 4 years, and finally bothered to move to someone else. Saved just over £900 a year, and now have better cover! I'd not recommend CG to anyone

Great customer service Very efficient, one phonecall everything I had asked for was sent to me via email. I struggled to get onto MID portal helpful step by step guide and everything was correct still had issues on my part as I accessed the incorrect portal. Customer services was great registered me on and all I had to was reset my password. Very helpful staff. Thank you

Absolute disgrace of a company I've had range rovers (insurance group 50) and X5's (insurance group 40 to 47) on without any problem at all then I came to insure a Mercedes ML (insurance group 38) and all of a sudden the insurance group is too high. When I took out the policy no-one ever mentioned anything about insurance groups! When I told them about the Range rovers and X5 they replied "well they shouldn't have been on" and also said " If you or any of your drivers are pulled driving the car, you will NOT be insured, but can insure it for an extra £190 for 4 months" they are nothing but money grabbing thieves. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
