“Service in shop good not the cheapest but wanted quality, was charged on the day for an extra gripper which I thought was included which I wasn't happy about”

“Love the fact you are a local independent business - hence popping in for a browse and new to the area so no preconception. Good customer service in the bed department especially as my initial choice had to change due to my partner procrastinating!! 2nd visit Gary 'coped' with my disappointment admirably and we ended up buying! Todays' delivery guys - great, polite, courteous and considerate like the carpet cover for my flooring. One constructive comment - increase communication between purchase and delivery. I would have appreciated a call/text to confirm delivery happening today as I had arranged it several weeks ago, its just reassurance as taken a day off work, needed to know not wasted. Today's guys said - only missed 1 delivery in 9 years (vehicle breakdown) amazing record but not being local not aware of your history - that is a good marketing tool/fact!! Very pleased, its looks lovely, just seen it, thanks”

“The service we received from the minute we walked into Clayton’s all the way through to ordering and delivery of our new bed was excellent. Ordering time was just over a week, and the delivery team assembled our bed and took away the waste for us. We are really pleased with the service and will be back, well done Clayton’s!”

“Excellent service but having paid a deposit not happy that was requested to pay in full day before carpet & underlay were to be laid without even approving how it had been fitted first .I have used Clayton's since 1976 in all my houses and have always paid remaining amount with card via phone prior to carpet fitter leaving property.I would be happy to pay half the cost of the carpet instead of a small deposit if could pay remaining amount once happy with the carpet and fitting .Phil the manager approved this way for me to pay this time too once I had discussed this with him I would otherwise have cancelled my order.”

“Everyone has been really helpful from my first visit to the shop, to the measuring, to the fitting. I haven't felt pressured to buy and felt like the salesman was honest and sincere. I was really impressed by the man who measured up, his talent for numbers is amazing!! The fitter was really impressive too, he didn't stop and i felt he really took care in his work”

“In store service was excellent - we needed carpets at quiet short notice and they got us in quickly. Price was the best we'd found. Fitting was done in half a day for a full 3-bed house and the finish was superb. Fitters were very friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend”
