Chorley Bottle Gas Ltd is a family run business, established in 2003 dedicated to providing a friendly, efficient and professional service to our customers.

We deal in all aspects of bottled gas within Chorley, Horwich, Bolton, Wigan, Preston and the surrounding areas.

We are main agents for Calor Gas offering a full range of cylinder sizes in Propane, Butane and BBQ gases giving our customers a Free Same Day Delivery service.

We supply Beer and Beverage Gas (cellar gas) to many local licensed premises and home users giving our clients the only true 24/7 emergency call out service in the area. There are no cylinder rental charges, delivery charges or contracts to sign!

We are a major supplier of Helium / Balloon Gas to both the public and trade, using our own state of the art filling plant we can offer unbeatable prices in five easy to use cylinder sizes. Our huge customer base is testament to our unbeatable pricing and service.

“Delivery was quick , however the order and rcipt paperwork stated what I ordered? 1/4 Bsp to 8mm tail , to fit 8mm Orange rubber gas pipe. What I received was not the same make and design in the advert picture, however needs must and stock availability etc is a consideration for all businesses at the moment. However what they sent me was a 3/8 to 10mm O/D fitting to fit 10mm bore diameter rubber pipe ? I suppose I could pop it up my Jackson and toot " Sweet Dixie " , for what use its worth. Its my understanding that 8mm is the total width of the Barb on the tail piece? The total diameter to slide into the rubber pipe, not the bore of the tail piece tube? The Bsp fits a Rothenberg 3/8 joiner so it must be a 3/8 instead of the smaller 1/4 Bsp like most garages use etc on their cpl compressed airlines etc to power air tools.”

“I purchased a bottle of camping gas and paid for delivery. I then got a notification that because of my post code I would be £5 more for delivery as I was in the highlands. I am most definitely not in the highlands, I am in Aberdeenshire. I cancelled my order and asked for a refund. I must point out that it was the courier that applied the extra charge, and Chorley Bottle Gas was passing on the charge. Within an hour, I had a very nice explanation email, and my refund was processed. I was very happy with the manner in which this company responded. I would recommend them as a company and hopefully in the future they can get a courier that understands geography. Thanks.”

“After having unsuccessfully tried to source some Campingaz gas bottles from almost every hardware shop, camping store and outdoor pursuits centres here in Wales, I somehow stumbled across Chorley Bottle Gas' website in my quest to get an old Campingaz lantern running again. The lady whom I spoke to was extremely helpful and went out of her way to find the bottles I needed. She got back to me within a few minutes and "Bingo!", had found the ones I had been searching for weeks to find ! I now have two Campingaz bottles and my lantern is up and running. I really can't thank her enough for her time and help in trying to resolve my query, I'd almost given up any hope of getting the thing running again after every place I had tried here in Wales had basically written it off with "No supplies of that gas / unavailable / too old but you can buy the lanterns we sell / good luck with that, you'll not find anywhere selling gas for those", type of replies. Bottles were sent via a 24hr courier service, extremely well packaged and arrived on the day they were earmarked for delivery. What more can I say but "Excellent customer service with a brilliant outcome." In light of that, I now know where to source my Campingaz bottles and will order from them again when the time comes. Just a shame that I can't drop the empty ones back to take advantage of the refill vs complete option but that's really not a problem.”

“Perfect gas can for my camper van. Dispatched by Chorley promptly (next morning first thing even though I ordered late on a Sunday). However there were problems with the delivery company APC. I paid extra for express delivery yet it took an extra 24 hours to arrive. Not a problem from Chorley but note well if you are in prompt need and are based in the South as Chorley can't use their own delivery service.”
