Chorley Bottle Gas Ltd is a family run business, established in 2003 dedicated to providing a friendly, efficient and professional service to our customers.

We deal in all aspects of bottled gas within Chorley, Horwich, Bolton, Wigan, Preston and the surrounding areas.

We are main agents for Calor Gas offering a full range of cylinder sizes in Propane, Butane and BBQ gases giving our customers a Free Same Day Delivery service.

We supply Beer and Beverage Gas (cellar gas) to many local licensed premises and home users giving our clients the only true 24/7 emergency call out service in the area. There are no cylinder rental charges, delivery charges or contracts to sign!

We are a major supplier of Helium / Balloon Gas to both the public and trade, using our own state of the art filling plant we can offer unbeatable prices in five easy to use cylinder sizes. Our huge customer base is testament to our unbeatable pricing and service.

“The Gas Bottle was OK but having been charged £5 for 24 hour next working day delivery I was very disappointed that it took three days from ordering to arrive. I think I should be refunded the £5.”

Good Morning Paul, I am sorry you were disappointed with your delivery and felt the need to leave a negative review. I have looked at our system to see what has gone on. You order came through to us at : Payment via Card Payment on May 4, 2021 @ 1:53 pm. Which is after our 1.30pm cut off point for same day dispatch. So we dispatched your item the following morning on the 5th for delivery on the 6th as we always do. Looking at the courier tracking info (supplied below) they only delivered it on the 7th - a day late. I dont know why and I have no explanation for that and all I can do is apologise on their behalf. These couriers are a law onto them selves sometimes but we are stuck with them because of the nature of the product. But to be frank, paying £5 for delivery of this particular item is a bargain- whether it is next day or three days. The postage costs us £10 plus VAT. We subsidise the postage ourselves to make the delivery more affordable. Maybe for your own peace of mind next time you require one of these items you may want to go to a local stockist like go outdoors and purchase it there and pay upwards of £75 compared to the £50 to us you paid with doorstep delivery - even though on this occasion it took a day longer than planned ....?! “Recently bought bottled gas which included rental (Argo) which i use for welding. The gas performance was an improvement over pure co2 for welding mild steel, as it reduces weld splatter creating a better weld. The web site and payment processing was simple and convenient. The team communication was excellent, who phone me to arrange delivery. Which arrived in a timely manner. ...Thank you Chorley Bottled Gas”

“THIS IS NOT A BOT GENERATED AUTO 5 STAR REVIEW! Phoned them up to see what bottles they had of CAMPINGAZ and it was nice to not have some surly grumpy f*rt who clearly doesn't care on the phone to advise. Instead there was a very helpful young woman who explained the shortage of the 907 bottles and that the 904 is more popular anyway and practical otherwise you save money and just jump to the bigger CALOR sizes. She was spot on. So instead of it costing me £85 for a new bottle (out of stock) from Go Outdoors or £30 for an empty bottle and £30 refill from the cheapest place i could find from ToolHire i got it ordered and DELIVERED TO MY HOME for £50!! £45 for a new FULL 904 canister and delivered for £5. BARGAIN. With new safety carry cap. The lady was right too a 904 bottle is plenty big enough. Not sure how much they charge for a refill but i will be passing near them (im over 30 miles away) on most of my journeys so i can swap it out. They also give lots of emails to say its enroute and when its delivered and an invoice so i can claim it as a work expense - get in!! The big difference was the lass on the phone who was helpful to newbies instead of an angry B&Q type guy!”
