“Having been a subscriber of another well known chocolate companies tasting box. i thought it was time I tried another. I have to say the chocolate society's tasting box are beautiful chocolates to look at and very tasty to eat. Some interesting flavour combinations and I haven't been let down yet in the 2 or 3 boxes I have received so far. So, if you're tired of your current chocolate subscription or are looking to try something new. I don't think you can go too far wrong.”

“The chocolate is really good. The monthly boxes aren't cheap but the chocolates are interesting, beautiful to look at and high quality. A favourite shop for this household of chocoholics!”

“I have been blown away by this company from day dot. As a birthday gift, my friend ordered me the three month subscription. The chocolates that have been delivered during this time have been sensational! Nothing can compare. Since then, whenever a friend has a birthday, I have ordered them the box of the month. The professionalism of this company is outstanding. They take the time to care for each individual customer. Unfortunately, my three month subscription has come to an end, but I am happy to report that I will now be subscribing for the year!”

“Gorgeous! Ordered the Blonde and Dark Chocolate Truffles and both were delicious. The quality is superb but my favourite definitely being the Blonde. Would love to try the Milk chocolate truffles next.”

“Hi. I ordered these as a gift for a friend in Edinburgh, and he loved, them, thanks. However I won't be using your company again, due to the ridiculous £16 additional charge you make for posting things to the Highlands (especially) the mainland. What possible justification is there for this extra charge to post something to Inverness rather than Edinburgh? Really disappointing, and I hope something you review.”

Hi Thom, thank you for your email and I’m really pleased the chocolates were enjoyed. We used to be able to send to the Highlands and Islands at our standard rate through Royal Mail, however unfortunately Royal Mail lost over 120 Parcels in a 24 hour period last November. With very poor customer service after this happened we had to move from Royal Mail to DPD. Unfortunately DPD charge us £20 for Highlands and Islands deliveries and we subsidise this to £16, however we are unable to subsidise further. We are always looking for a cheap, reliable courier service for our Highlands and Islands customers but unfortunately we haven’t found a solution yet. I hope the above provides you with clarity on the situation and the price is dictated by what we are charged and we do not make any money off any postage - the opposite in fact - all shipping that we charge we subsidise for our customers. “5 stars isn’t enough.. I want to give more. The chocs are wonderful and luxurious, and I received extremely efficient customer service when I called to make that a delivery arrived on my wife’s birthday.”
