We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“Always a pleasure to say how much we LOVE and APPRECIATE a your marvellous chocs - every one, old and new, a WINNER! We’ve been devotees (esp of visiting Swanage base) for many years. So I bought 2 boxes for this Autumn Half Term and plans for making them last totally sabotaged by two small grandsons who insist they should have a couple every day as well! Stunningly subtle and deliciously beautiful chocolates 💝thank you 💝”

“Some will be gifts, but the caramel chocolates were absolutely gorgeous. I do wonder about the packaging graphics - the current packaging works really well for the novelty chocolates but you might be missing a huge section of the market who respond better to irresistible chocolatey images! Our eyes buy things! 😋😊”

Thank you, we're thrilled that you loved our Molasses & Brown Butter Caramels. We have recently launched a new look for our packaging which is being rolled out across our range, but as you actually can see our chocolates and novelties both online and in the shops (before you see the packaging), we think that they sell themselves.

Thank you, we're so pleased that you love our chocolates. As we're sure you're aware, not all emulsifiers are artificial. We do have some chocolate varieties which contain no emulsifiers at all; these are only available in bar or flake form. Our other chocolate varieties contain emulsifiers in the form of lecithin - mainly sunflower, some soy - which are available in a variety of bar, flake and novelty formats, however we are in the process of phasing out chocolates which contain soya lecithin as far as we are able to. The fillings for the chocolates in our selection boxes may also contain a variety of other types of emulsifier such as egg (used in fruit curds), butter (used in caramels), E472a & polysorbate 60 (present in Oatly Whippable Cream used in our vegan caramel), as well as the emulsifier in the chocolate itself, but this is not an exhaustive list. However, we are continually trying to source more natural products and where possible changing recipes and ingredients. The ingredients for all of our products can be found on our website on the Ingredients tab on each product page, so as long as you know what you are looking for in terms of emulsifiers, you will be able to see if a product contains it there. As not all emulsifiers are artificial, they would only be listed specifically as 'emulsifier' in our ingredients list if it is artificial.

“Really lovely business. I love the ghosts and bats and I think they’re adorable. Although I loved the taste. I believe there is always room for improvement, and the packaging is very basic. I am grateful for my chocolates and I hope this feedback can help. The only thing I would suggest is that when I opened the packaging the label came off of the box so now I feel like it takes away the brand (marketing) and it’s just a brown box. It is also quite difficult to close.”
