We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“Fast delivery. Bought some hot choc flakes as part of a gift and they’re not labelled saying what they are unfortunately. Not a big deal, only as they’re a gift and it looks a bit odd to give them unlabelled.”

“Lovely vegan treats which I bought for a friend's birthday. I was inspired to buy the orang utan which means a tree is planted in Sumatra to help Orang Utans. Well done guys.”

Thank you for gifting Chococo and for choosing Tuandua the Vegan Orangutan to help support SOS (The Sumatra Orangutan Society). These guys help reforest areas of Northern Sumatra which have been destroyed for farming, logging and palm oil production. As of Spring 2022, we have funded the planting of 10,355 cocoa tree seedlings and we were thrilled to discover from the SOS team that orangutans love eating cocoa bean flesh fresh from the pod! Cute! Growing cocoa will also bring wider income streams to local farmers. Win-win.

“The chocolates were purchased as gifts so I am unable to rate as per quality of the chocolates, but I expected both the chocolates and the boxes to be larger than those which arrived and in this to impress those who would receive the gifts. The photographs of the chocolates are very misleading where size is concerned. I did look at the chocolates and they were smaller than average chocolates. In this they are rather expensive for content and presentation, and I doubt that my relatives will appreciate the gesture or realise the hand made exclusiveness of them.”

Thank you for gifting Chococo, but we are sorry to read your comments. The images on our website are true photographic images of actual boxes and actual chocolates, and are in no way misleading in terms of size. There are even videos! The chocolates are made in the same sized moulds used by many other hand-crafted chocolate makers. When you say 'average chocolates', we have to presume that you are referring to mass produced, cheap chocolates made with sugar and palm-oil loaded chocolate and synthetic ingredients in plastic boxes. Your relatives should realise the hand-crafted exclusiveness of our chocolates as our boxes, menu and inserts shout about it ... we're proud of it! They'll certainly know when they try them.

“The quality of the chocolate is excellent. I had problems with the website and couldn't find the way to get the free box of chocolates. However, when I phoned a very helpful lady added these to my order. Unfortunately, the order was then sent with one item missing. After contacting you again this was sent under separate cover. This slightly marred the whole Chococo experience.”

Thank you, we're thrilled that you love our chocolate, but sorry that the website experience and the despatch issue marred the experience for you. We try to make it as clear as possible how to get free items when we have a promotion, so we're sorry that this was difficult for you to navigate. All our orders are picked and lovingly packed by hand (no automated picking or packing) and whilst we always aim to ensure everything is 100% correct, we are all human at the end of the day. But we're glad we managed to get both of your issues resolved - our lovely Customer Care team are on hand to do just that.

“The milk chocolate bar and chocolate bunny were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. I am saving the chocolate and honeycomb bar for now. Promptly delivered and very reasonable price. Premium chocolate/ingredients used. Would thoroughly recommend Chococo as a place to purchase wonderful chocolate.”
