“As much as I would like to say my experience has been positive, I can't. "Mixed" would be the fairest. Having ordered a watch, with a very strong discount admittedly, the watch duly arrived. It took a few days longer than anticipated and used Royal Mail shipping, which I never really enjoy for high-value items. Upon opening the "new" watch, which even came with an "inspected by" sheet reassuringly telling me the watch had been thoroughly prepped before dispatch and visually inspected, it was very very far away from new. It had been worn extensively, with a heavily scratched bracelet and wear marks on the bronze inner, not just from atmospheric ageing as you get with bronze. This was extensive wear. Returns took another few days and, having had the experience somewhat soured, I requested a refund. I would state my dealings with the team have been efficient and courteous at all times - certainly one of the best on the communication side. At the end of the day, I'm not paying for the communication, which is a shame as if the condition has indeed been as new, I'd be a happy customer and the tone of this review would be markedly different.”

She patiently listened to my preferences, respected my budget, helped me make an informed decision, and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction with some good banter thrown in. “£700 earrings lasted only 7 months before falling apart. We are very disappointed in the earrings I bought for my wife’s birthday. After just 7 months of very light use, they fell apart. By pure luck alone we managed to find the missing piece of the earring so that a repair would be possible. We contacted our local jeweller who said the design was very poor and they could see why they didn’t last. We then contacted Chisolm Hunter who asked us to return the broken earring for repair but, given the design was the main problem, there was little point repairing it to the same standard as it was originally designed to. We also had no confidence that the other earring would not break at the same weak point and we may not be lucky enough to find the missing piece if this happened. Instead, we paid our local jeweller £75 to improve on the design with a high quality repair so my wife could wear them with confidence that they wouldn’t fall apart again. Poor design and quality from Chisolm Hunter. This will be our last purchase from them as if they can’t make £700 earrings last more than 7 months there is something very wrong.”

“I am so impressed with my purchase, I'm always a little dubious when ordering online and especially this time as I'd never ordered jewellery before. To say that I was impressed is an understatement, the ring looks 10 times better than in the online pictures and the presentation box is superb. My fiancée is so happy with her ring, she can't stop looking at it! Chisholm Hunter will be my first choice for any future jewellery”

“What can I say. The service I got in Inverness branch was excellent there help in getting my wife her the right birthday present that she would love and she did big thanks to Jordan, Julie, Afton, and every other member that helped keep it a secret from her. I could not recommend them enough for their knowledge help and service I got from them. Big Thank You”

“Ordered a Tissot PRX automatic with the Ice Blue dial from CH. the model was on pre-order only at CH (and other retailers). Placed my order and I was expecting a wait for at least a couple of weeks but CH managed to fulfil my order in a matter of days. Watch arrived robustly packaged and in perfect condition. CH also threw in a complimentary watch roll. A nice touch! All round a very pleasant experience.”
