“I only ordered a small plate to go either a cup & saucer I was given so not a huge order. Easy to order, arrived within timescale and well packaged to prevent damage. Plate is beautiful, no marks and as new”

“It was a very easy exercise to find what I wanted to replace. My dinner service is 50 years old but I had no difficulty finding what I wanted. Excellent site and 'no nonsense' details ! “May I say I love this design, it's simple and elegant. I loved it the first time I saw it. I started my collection over 30+ years ago when the pieces were on promotion at the then local petrol station. I completed a 4 place table setting and cups and saucers. Was I overjoyed when I found that a town near where we moved to, actually sold Caprice! I completed my teapot set and open oval serving bowls, but at the time couldn't afford the extras to the dining set. Now I see you have the covered serving dishes etc!!🙂. I placed my order just after midnight on 1/1, and so, allowing for holidays and weekends, I did not expect an reasonable time frame such as next day or three day. Not reasonable. The delivery arrived on the 11th, early as it was scheduled for 13th. When I saw the courier carrying a box up the drive I wondered who on earth in the family had ordered a case of 6 Merlot wine bottles, ha ha 😉🍷. However, the box had my name on it and as soon as I saw it had the China Village label I knew straight away what it was! My two starter/salad plates 😊🍽🍽. YEY! The package itself was well filled with loads of newspaper ✔, my plates were separated and really well protected ✔ and, although they had the tiniest of scratches, they fitted in well with my remaining plates ✔. I cannot fault either yourselves or the courier. Thank you China Village! Kind regards PS.. I'm now looking for the gravy boat and a stand (saucer) (hint hint).”
