“Lovely furniture, some construction required but gretat quality”

“I have never used this company before and never ordered furniture online as I have always gone to a shop to see the item I wanted. I wasn't really expecting much I thought it may be damaged not good quality etc, however the 2 items I bought are absolutely beautiful such good quality and arrived on time on the day allocated. I am extremely pleased with my purchases and would have no hesitation of using this company again. Top Marks awarded to them.”

“I ordered a TV unit and nest of tables . The order arrived as planned , tv cabinet excellent value . Nest of tables were not what we ordered however this was resolved with a quick telephone call. Natasha’s customer service was excellent. Highly recommended furniture and excellent value for money . Would definitely use again”

“Very pleased with the tv unit I purchased finish and quality very good especially as I got it at a sale price the only down side was I was not informed of delivery and it just turned up out of the blue and as my wife had covid at the time they had to leave it in the garden where it stayed until I could get home”

“Very pleased with my purchase. Having been shamed by a friend’s wife that our spare bedroom needed a dressing table I looked for one that was good quality, stylish, not too big and wouldn’t break the bank. I changed the drawer knobs to tie into our other bedroom furniture. Hopefully she’ll be pleased next time they stay! Good product, good service and a decent price.”

“The sideboard I ordered is beautifully made and is exactly what I was after. The arranged delivery all went well and as planned, I paid extra for the white glove service and the delivery men where very polite and professional and were happy to accommodate everything I asked for and unpackaged and placed the sideboard exactly where I wanted, and left no mess behind, checking I was happy before taking the packaging away and signing the delivery note. This is the first time I’ve ordered from Chiltern Oak furniture but I would definitely order again and recommend from the service I received and the quality of the sideboard. I was worried there maybe a mark here or there when it arrived but there isn’t and it is in perfect condition.”

“We Ordered the shoe storage for our hallway, this is the second piece of furniture that we have ordered from Chiltern Oak recently, always get good customer service and quick delivery, never had any problems. Prices are good value and furniture is well made.”

“We never got as far as seeing the wardrobe that we had ordered. The delivery process was utterly shambolic with the delivery company unable to stick to a three hour timeframe and unable to let anyone know when they might be able to redeliver. They are working at their own convenience, not the customer's. Avoid this company.”

“Had 2 orders for different furniture items. - Both orders contained damaged items, due to a non existent QA process and poor packaging - The furniture is not the high quality I was expecting. The “oak” tops are 95% cheap MDF, with small oak side pieces and a thin top oak layer stuck on top, leaving inconsistencies in colour between these various pieces and visible join lines. This is false advertising as they don’t mention this anywhere on their website and advertise everything as “oak furniture” with “chunky oak tops”. From the look of the boxes it arrives in they source the products manufactured at low cost abroad and just resell them - The customer service is terrible. One refund not processed at all in the promised timeframe and I had to waste my time chasing it up. (They clearly have a lot of refunds to process, I wonder why?). Issue with the second refund with them not able to follow basic instructions or use any common sense Avoid at all costs”

“I bought the Ashbourne Grey Painted 2 Door Wardrobe with Drawer. I was disappointed with the quality of the product and the description on their website was also misleading. The website stated that "Requires some assembly", which should actually state that the main wardrobe section comes completely flat-packed and requires full assembly! It took almost two hours to assemble this, mainly due to the poor quality of manufacture. A number of the pre-set fixings were not perfectly lined up. Also, some of the wardrobe sections were slightly warped (particularly the back panel). So it was challenging to get the bolts into the fixings. IKEA is better quality! There were also some small scratches on the paintwork. To be fair to Chiltern Oak Furniture, when I raised this with them they sent out a touch-up pen. But overall, I wouldn't buy again.”
