“To be honest I like the furniture but having had a few items the quality control is poor at best. I received a nest of tables that was so badly damaged the leg was secured to the table with tape. Obviously this was a mistake at the warehouse and the Chiltern team quickly ordered a replacement. I have to say the delivery teams I have had are really good and hard working. I then ordered two wardrobes almost £1,000 and there were marks at the back and internally. There were some light scuffs at the front. Chiltern solution was to send me a small pot about 1/5 full of touch up paint. The paint sorted the front and as you can't see the back or internally it was less of an issue. But these are, for me, expensive items and I expected better. Most recently I ordered a small sideboard. The damage on it is terrible there are massive cracks and and a dent on the oak top. Event the handles are missing! I had raised this issue by email and voicemail and got nothing for 3 days. Then I got an email saying they would try to source a replacement. I replied with a compliant and detailed all the issues and I have heard nothing since. So I am stuck with broken sideboard and a massive cardboard box which I need to keep should I ever get a response. The items I have are really nice and we are happy with them but quality control and after customer service is poor to say the least.”

Hello there. I've just had a look at your order and the item you ordered is not eligible for, or advertised as having next day delivery. We do have products that qualify for this service and these would be sent out on the next day service, however the item you ordered is too big to be sent with a next day courier. “Not what I was expecting with this company. My wife ordered 3 items and 2 have issues, ranging from damage to different coloured draws. Quality control is clearly an issue. Why include a telephone number should you have issues that isn't monitored?? Terrible.”

Everything, including the tv stand today, has been fantastic quality, affordable and delivered within a matter of days from the day of ordering. “I live in Bury Lancs, I had looked at a number of furniture stores, then went to the internet to compare products and prices, Chiltern Oak came up and to my surprise the items I was looking for (oak TV cabinet and two lamp stand tables) were offering the same solid standard I was looking for. I have to highlight the cost was very much reduced to my delight. By offering free delivery also I want ahead with my order. The items were delivered within three days from ordering. Brilliant, delivery men could not have been more helpful and respectful. I also have to praise the after sales service when I emailed them to advise on the type of cleaning/polishing products they advised. All in all every art of this company deserve praise and respect for assisting the customer in quality products and service. Thanks to all.”

“Having been very badly let down previously by another company (now in receivership.....not surprised) we were so happy to find Chiltern, who could supply a very similar product to the one we had originally been waiting for. Our delivery arrived as promised to our home, near to Bridgend, South Wales on Tuesday 4th February. We are very pleased with the quality of the product and polite and efficient service....that particularly goes to both the young men, one with Czech nationality and the other Rumanian, who brought the furniture into the house, helped us unpack, check and dispose of the packaging. They could not have been more helpful. I would like you to pass on our thanks to them.”

“Brilliant customer service, delivery and furniture! I order the Portland Bedroom range a couple of years ago and wanted an extra piece! I sent an email asking if they could advice which colour I had ordered, and the reply came straight back! My order was processed, my bedside cabinet arrived the next day and I couldnt be happier!!”
