“Just had my Portland bed frame and chest of drawers delivered. The best delivery I ever had, quality is perfect, price is reasnoable comparing to other companies and colour is exactly the same as shown on the website. Arrived on time and the delivery guys were friendly. The only down side is that there are black marks on the bed frame on one side , didn't come off after whipping with dry and wet cloth. A bit disappointed as the marks face me when ever I get into my bedroom.”

Please do not feel as though you must keep the item, if you are unhappy with it we offer a free returns policy and can provide you with a replacement that you are totally happy with. :)

“I purchased 2 x Sherwood Oak Narrow Bedside cupboards. They are beautiful pieces of furniture, well-made and arrived next day. I was also very impressed with the secure way they were packaged. I can only highly recommend Chiltern Oak furniture.”

“The Portland White furniture looks gorgeous in my bedroom. The items were delivered in perfect condition within a week of ordering, even though this was over the New Year weekend. I was about to order the same furniture from another site when I came across the Chiltern Oak website; this saved me over £250 on the the three items I purchased. Great value and great service, I would definitely recommend this company.”

“I purchased two painted beds online and when they arrived whilst they appear well made, they were not as described on the website. The paintwork was distressed, not a look I particularly like, indeed I would not have purchased the beds had I known this to be the case. I phoned Chiltern Oak to inform them of this and was promised a call back which never materialised; in the meantime we were sleeping on mattresses on the floor. After several days I called again only to be told that all the painted beds made by the manufacturer were distressed, a fact that Chiltern Oak were unaware of until I brought it to their attention. As alternative beds would not arrive until after Xmas I decided to keep the beds, but was given very little recompence (less I suspect than it would have cost the company in transport costs), despite the fact the beds were not as described. Further I only received this after I finally managed to contact Chiltern after several failed attempts and having having left further voicemail messages which again were not answered. The quality of the beds is good for the money but unfortunately the after sales service is very sadly lacking. In addition I note the description on the website is remains as was - incorrect!”

We were aware that the range had a light distressing and thought this was evident in the images, however we have now added it to the range description to prevent confusion in the future. “Having ordered four coffee tables from another company, arriving damaged each time I gave up with them and ordered the same coffee table from Chiltern Oak. It cost a little more but boy was it worth the extra money!!The table arrived at least 2 weeks earlier than expected, very well packaged and in perfect condition! I am so pleased to finally have the piece in my living room. Great customer service on the phone and they even called me to make sure delivering early was ok. I will definitely be using this company again, a very professional 5 star service!”

“furniture was find but was damaged i.e. handle on tv base also small table for lamp chipped bottom plate I contacted yourselves regarding handle by e-mail and telephone and had no reply - I will be unable to recommend your customer service”
