“Having chosen your company for my husband's 84th birthday gift and ordered this in good time 01.10,17 (I was informed'next day delivery') not only did it not arrive on time - I am still waiting. I have tried to ring your company but I have not received any reply. If this gift does not arrrive in the next two days - I will request a full refund. My husband has dementia- he hasn't remembered it's been his birthday which is a good thing - we can relive it all over again when your product arrives - possibly. Appalling.”

Hello there. I'm sorry to see that you have left us the lowest possible feedback. The item was sent to the Courier immediately and should have been delivered on the next working day, however, after looking in to this for you we've discovered that they have lost the parcel and hadn't informed us. My colleagues have advised that they spoke to you on the phone yesterday, however i'd just like to confirm that the item will be sent out again today for delivery tomorrow. “We bought two bed side cabinets and these were the exact match to the wood grain of our current furniture. We are so please with the design as well, the width in particular, which had very difficult to source out.”

“COULD NOT BELIEVE THE QUALITY OF THE WOOD AND HOW IT WAS MADE. MY HUSBAND SAID THE PRICE WAS UNBELIEABLE. ANY WHERE ELSE IT WOULD HAVE COST £250 PLUS. MANY THANKS AGAIN, GLENIS”

“Suffolk Grey Painted Oak Large Hall Bench Description is misleading - 'chunky oak top' and 'a lot thicker than many similar alternatives'. Top edge of bench certainly lives up to the billing, but main area of top was relatively thin veneered MDF. Couple of other issues that took shine off what could be perfect, but is instead OK/satisfactory. Item had damage inside despite pretty good packaging, and received no response to an email sent to Chiltern Oak Furniture, but decided to repair ourselves to save hassle of sending it back. Don't think we'd buy from Chiltern again though.”

Hi Mr Pollock. I'm very sorry to hear that you're not entirely satisfied with your purchase. I just wanted to put your mind at ease and let you know that no MDF has been used in the top surface of this product. Oak veneer is used beside solid oak on the top surface to prevent the solid wood from cracking. I'm very sorry that your email wasn't replied to. The only thing I can say in defence of the guys dealing with the emails is that you mentioned in your email that you would be back in touch when you'd made a decision on whether to keep the item. I would however still have expected them to acknowledge your email and I will discuss this with them. Please note that if you're unhappy with the item we will collect this for you and offer you a full refund. Kind regards, Chiltern Oak Furniture.

“Hello - very pleased with product - exactly as it both looks and described on your site I wish to make a very clear point here - the two lads who delivered and installed the Oak Drawers were two of the most respectable and polite young men I have met for a long time - they both represented your company in a very high standard - I would be pleased if you would take the time and draw these comments to the two lads in question - delivered on the 18th of this month”
