13 months on and my £700 chair has fallen apart at the seems! The management said it’s accidental damage!! Customer service is shocking took over a week of phone calls for someone to respond only to met with the most unhelpful manager. Don’t buy from here I wish I have read all previous reviews and took my business elsewhere! Bad quality bad service bad price!

Ordered a larder which arrived absolutely smashed to pieces. Requested a replacement, and as a gesture of goodwill they said it would be assembled by the delivery team. Delivery team had to be persuaded to do this when the 2nd item arrived, and left all the packing behind. Item has since developed staining in many places across the wood. Avoid. Cowboys.

It has not arrived as notified. DPD their usual awful service say we were not in. Rubbish not left the house all day. (2 of us) now notify "that as we were not in" they will deliver to Bargain Booze on Chester Road. Outrageous as at 80 yrs old how are we expected to pick up a heavy item of furniture ourselves so why do you think we opted for delivery. If this is the service we can expect we will not be ordering again.

Ordered online, the site said items were in stock. A few days later advised out of stock. Ordered a different colour. 3 items were supposed to turn up, only one did. I am 68 with arthritic wrists and have to move furniture around for the delivery men., so far 4 times. One of the wardrobes was the wrong colour. Another delivery & that was the wrong colour! I had to be ready for another delivery at 7am today. At 10.30 they advised that there was not enough room on the van. I now have to put everything back and do it all again in around a fortnight's time. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

The product is just overpriced cheap rubbish from Vietnam! The design is great and sturdy but the panels are just flimsy made of fake wood, also the doors don't even close!

Spent over £600, informed them more than once we are unable to accept delivery on a Tuesday (like most people we work during the week) and 3 weeks on the trot they scheduled delivery for a Tuesday. I’ve now had to cancel the order after wasting 3 weeks of my time and will need to spend more time finding a dining table and ordering another one! Poor.

Bought two Florence bedside cabinets, in white, had to wait 5 days for delivery, despite living 6 miles up the road. Men delivered them, no problems, however upon unpacking them they were different shades of white. Contacted head office as I was told to do, they then told me I had to contact the store. Sent photos of cabinets, via email. Chap agreed they were different shades of white, so arranged for 2 others to be sent out, so I had to wait another week for replacement units, upon unpacking those, the cabinet drawers on one unit were different colour to the rest of the unit, and it was all scuffed. Second cabinet was slightly scuffed & there was all paint on the knob. Rang the store again, sent more pictures of replacement cabinets. Was agreed the cabinets were faulty. So a collection was arranged, so another week later the second lot of cabinets were collected. I requested my money back & now in tye process of getting refund. I've purchased different cabinets from elsewhere now. Not impressed with the quality of the Florence units and were certainly not worth £139 per unit that I paid.

I placed an order only to be told a few days later it is out of stock when it was showing available at the time of order. What I found most annoying was lack of communication the emails I sent took days for a response in the end I ended up cancelling the order altogether and requested for a full refund which is still not sorted. I usually order from the Cotswold furniture company thought I give this company a chance but I will stick to the best lesson learnt.

I ordered a display cabinet on 10 April and am still waiting for it sadly. The sales team never like to call and only email but I have had to wait ages for response. Reason for the delay of this item has been varied depending on who emails back. I am so disappointed

A Bergen sideboard was delivered badly damaged. It was delivered by one man at 5.45 in the morning! It was made of very thin material and was very light so not surprised it was damaged. The return was efficient as was the collection, money refunded promptly.

Paid over £200 for a bookcase that looks like is was made by a 5 year old Poor quality unfinished wood, uneven & botched together with offcuts, staples sticking out, pieces don't fit together properly, back hanging off and it's covered in splits where nails have been put in. Great delivery but genuinely save your money and buy elsewhere, not even worth half what I paid for it. Tried to add pictures but won't upload unfortunately.

My son ordered 2 bedside tables and a chest 29.1.23, for some reason they didnt text him or send an email but sent a automatic message on our house phone which wasn't clear with a bad signal so didn't know who it was from! I chased the company on 7th February after being on hold for nearly 30mins to be told they had tired to deliver that day but no one in my sons new house with being at work! The lady took my mobile number and said they would contact me that way, well today another automatic message on my house phone which I have tired to ring back but that doesn't work cos automated! I have rang Chiltern Oak to be again on hold for 30 mins, the lady did apologise and said my mobile number was down but why it wasn't used she didn't know, so the furniture is confirmed for delivery next week so it better be worth it and not damaged in anyway! sorry very poor service and we haven't got the furniture yet. After reading so many good reviews, I am disappointed to be writing a poor one. Ordered an item online on 2nd Jan. When I ordered, it said there were 4 left. Received a confirmation email straight away & the money was taken from my account. On the 10th January I emailed to find out how long delivery would be. I received an auto reply to say my email would be responded to within 72hrs. By the 16th Jan I still hadn’t heard anything about delivery of my item so I called. I waited 18 mins for someone to answer the phone however, the person I spoke to was very apologetic & explained that the item simply hadn’t been brought up from the warehouse for delivery & that I would receive delivery within a week. 4 days later, still no news so I called again to be told that the item was out of stock & had been discontinued!! If I hadn’t of called who knows when I would have been told this as to this day, I still haven’t received a response to my email. Here’s hoping my money is refunded back to me quickly. Very poor experience which has put me off using this company ever again.

We ordered bookcase. Bookcase comes in 2 parts. First time delivery had wrong top part and was returned . 2nd delivery shelves didn’t align to holes. 3rd time they sent someone to fix it and the only suggestion was to remove parts of the shelving using pliers to make it fit! Item returned and 2 weeks later still waiting on refund. Do not buy from this company not a good experience.

Ordered a dressing table form here. The website has a picture of the dressing table, with a mirror and stool. Clicked on buy and ordered. Only a table arrives. The mirror and stool arent included, but this is not at all clear from the website. There is no link to buy them. You have to specifically search for them, and then they don't have stock. Not a good customer experience, and I feel like I have been mis-sold to. On phoning the shop, I had to wait 30 mins for an answer.

I have got to say this has been my worst experience ever with any furniture company they take at least a week to return any email or dont bother at all, We had delivered a Kingsize bedstead, 2 x bedside tables and a 6 drawer chest. one of the bedside tables arrived completly smashed and the 6 Drawer chest had lumps and bumps on top of the wood when you are paying £520 for a chest of drawers you expect exceptional quality , We then said we will have them replaced which they said on the phone would happen by Thursday this week ,we then get a email to say that there is none in stock and discontinued line We have spent £1300 for some accessories to complete a bedroom that we have just had built in wardrobes and we cant complete with all matching goods and no sorry and again no answer to a Email thast i sent a week ago- I would give this company a very wide birth - No customer care, once they have your money !!!!

Furniture ordered did not arrive. Poor customer service, I was advised emails not replied to because they were too busy. Emails only answered when I cancelled the order. Very disappointing and would not recommend.

An order was placed on 22 November - the goods were in stock according to the website and should be delivered within 3 working days. No goods have so far been received and emails not answered or communication as to when delivery is likely to be. I have just spent 50 minutes in your telephone queuing system and finally a message saying "sorry we could not take your call, please leave a message and we will get back to you" was received. So basically what a waste of nearly an hour and I am still no closer to finding out where my order is despite the cost of the goods being taken from my card when the order was placed. Disappointing to say the least!! I will now consider my next actions.
