“This is a strongly built shoe bench with an attractive oak finished top. I bought it in the sale at a very good price for a pre assembled piece of furniture. It can be placed in the hall or bedroom depending on what it is used for. The only downside is that, it cannot take adult sized shoes above size 5/6. This was my fault as I realised the possibility of this being the case but I was so keen to buy one at the sale price and for its strong build. Each box will take three pairs of ladies shoes but no more than size 5/6. A very attractive piece of furniture which I am pleased with.”

“Looks perfect and homely, redecorating for a more relaxed farm house style living room and thus looks perfect. The delivery guy was really nice and polite and I had fantastic communication from my order to delivery I was kept updated. Really nice company and good customer service. Il be back for more furniture.”

“I bought 2 pieces of furniture from you. I’ve never seen such excellent packaging . I was also very pleased with the items. The Chester grey large tv unit is so stylish and well finished it looks great in our newly refurbished lounge. The 2 best of tables to match was lovely as well. Would recommend you to anyone.”

“I bought a simple hall storage bench unit for shoes. It is great value for money, really sturdy, delivered built and ready (no daunting flatpack to assemble) and looks really good. Delivery was quick, and notified in advance so I could be sure to be there. Very happy with my purchase.”

“The fixed top, small oak table was well constructed and attractive. It was the same as in the photograph. The staff at Chiltern were great but the delivery was a hassle with DPD not turning up when arranged and changing arrangements at the last minute.”

“I ordered the rustic oak nest of 3 tables about a month ago and was delighted with them. So much so that I changed my mind about a tv cabinet I had seen at John Lewis. I decided to order the tv cabinet from Chiltern Oak to match my tables. Delighted with every aspect of both items. Price and quality is excellent. Delivery was on time and the delivery man carried tv unit into my lounge. I am delighted. Thank you.”

“Just ordered two large wardrobes. They look even better than on the website. Delivery was fast, and the two delivery men were incredibly efficient. They managed to bring the wardrobes up a very narrow and tricky set of stairs. Couldn't be happier about this purchase.”

“I was not very happy with the delivery because the tables looked a little dull as if they have been in the store for a long time. Also, the smaller table had a chip/graze. I couldn't be bothered to go through the hassle of returning the tables. But, I don't think I will buy from the sellers again. On the positive note, the quality of the wood seems good.”

“Ordered bedside table/drawers at sensible price for spare bedroom. Pleasantly surprised by finish although there is more non-oak wood in construction than other suppliers and more use of veneer as opposed to solid oak. Finish and workmanship very good and drawers slide smoothly. Will look at this company again if we need small items of bedroom furniture”

“Good solid well-made furniture, delivered promptly. Brilliant idea to send two choices of drawer knobs, better than having to decide before seeing the items in situ. One disappointment - I had two supposedly matching bedside tables, probably already boxed for delivery when they were picked in the dispatch department. In theory the wooden tops should match as they are the same wood, but in practice natural variation means one is much darker than the other. Not unbearable with two bedside cabinets which are separated by a bed, but if this applied to two adjacent furniture items it would be unacceptable. Maybe "Dispatch" could check contents before sending?”
