Hi Daryl. I'm very sorry to see that you've left us the lowest possible feedback. I can see that you've placed an order with us but can't see any correspondence from the email address you've used. “Received my chest of drawers which was significantly damaged and then had great difficulty speaking to anyone in customer services, I telephoned and left a message, I emailed, I contacted them via Messenger which incidentally they have now blocked me from and then telephoned again before actually speaking to anyone. Finally when I did speak to someone I was told it would be up to 10 days before the item would be collected and even longer to receive a refund. I advised that I would be posting my experience on social media which I did on their Facebook page visitor posts but my post miraculously disappeared and now I have been blocked for leaving factual details of my experience. I also emailed the CEO of Chiltern Oak but as you’d expect with this level of service my email has been ignored. Chiltern Oak say they do not have ‘reviews’ on their Facebook page but there were comments from people who were happy with their purchase so clearly just the comments about poor quality/service that are not allowed. There are many good reviews for the company but just to be aware if you do have a problem the customer service is poor as quite a number of customers have found looking at recent reviews on TrustPilot. It is now almost a week since I spoke with Chiltern Oak and I am still waiting for confirmation of a date when the item will be collected”

Hi Tracy. I'm sorry to see that again you have left another negative review for us. I appreciate that the 10-day wait for collection is frustrating, however this is in-line with our delivery lead-time and collections/replacements are effectively the same service. As you already know from our reply to your other negative reviews, your issue was dealt with less than 2 hours from the first point of contact, which seems very reasonable to me. I think the main issue here is that the item arrived damaged which seems to be the basis for your reviews. This is regrettable, but isn't something that we do deliberately and happens from time-to-time. I don't believe the service you have received thereafter has been below our usual standards, and I'm not sure what negative reviews you're referring to on Trustpilot as 96% of over 700 Trustpilot reviews are positive. To reiterate again; we don't have reviews on our social media pages. Customer comments are permitted but there are no reviews. We don't have a CEO, so I'm unsure who you have emailed. “Bought my second piece of furniture this week from Chiltern Oak Furniture and I have to say the service was as excellent as the 1st time. Next day free delivery, even with Covid 19 going on, no excuses about late deliveries, here exactly when they said, great service. Beautiful well made, exceptional quality. I can defiantly say I will not be going anywhere else ever again for furniture. Well done Chiltern Oak Furniture, your service and quality are 1st class.”

“Very impressed with your company, very competent staff who quickly answered my question regarding colour before I placed my order. My sideboard and coffee table arrived this morning most beautifully packaged and of very good quality. The only thing that let the whole experience down slightly was the very rude and unhelpful (contracted?) delivery driver but that is probably something not within your company's control. Otherwise 10/10. I will certainly recommend you. Thank you.”

“From the onset Chiltern Oak have been superb. Phones answered, questions answered, Polite service. Delivered before expected. Delivery drivers brilliant, packaging could not have been better with clears and precise instructions. Easy to assemble and well, the product is superb and better than expected. The photos on the website don't do the item justice. Thanks to all the team at Chiltern Oak, Awesome from point of order to delivery. Will recommend and use again”

“I ordered the rutland oak small dressing table and bedside cupboards. They are great , I have been looking for a small dressing table and cupboards for a long time . Such fantastic ordering and arrival very swift and polite delivery man . They also look great in my bedroom fitting in with an Oak bed and contrasting blk chest of drawers.”

“Excellent furniture, excellent service! I ordered 2 bedside cabinets the evening before last. Within a couple of minutes, I realised I had made a mistake on the order and contacted Chiltern Oak. Nothing was too much trouble, someone contacted me yesterday morning and corrected my error. 24 hours later (this morning), the cabinets are in the bedroom and they look absolutely fabulous. Given the country is currently in lockdown, this is unbelievably good service. And... the furniture is better quality and value than the company with the endless sale and media adverts! We will definitely use again. Highly recommended!”

“I am writing this review to say ‘thank you’ to Chiltern Oak. I have now bought two pieces of furniture from this company and have been very impressed by the value, quality and sturdiness of the furniture. Not only this; I live in the north of Scotland and both pieces of furniture were delivered to my front door the next working day. This NEVER happens with any other company.
