“I've just moved into a new house and have had lots of furniture delivered. I wish I had ordered all of it from Chiltern Oak Furniture because your products and delivery are head and shoulders above other, bigger companies I also bought oak furniture from. The furniture was brought in unpacked (no packaging for me to struggle with), in perfect condition, placed exactly where I wanted it (and it was very heavy) and the guys even put the beds together! I was gobsmacked but also delighted! If I could give you 10 stars I would. Very impressed.”

“I am delighted with this TV stand it looks superb, is of a very good quality and so easy to put together, the corners are rounded so nothing sharp to hurt youngsters or old people and it would also make a great coffee table. I just wish they made computer monitor/stands risers. I do not usually give such glowing results but this item deserved it.”

“We are absolutely thrilled with our oak book case. Looks stunning, very well made. Delivery was booked to suit our needs on a day and time that worked around our work schedule. The delivery guys could not have been more helpful, they unpacked the book case and assembled the shelves. Excellent job. Thank you.”

“Having read nothing but good reviews for Chiltern Oak furniture, I regret to say our experience could not have been further from the advertised 5-star experience. Having ordered a set of bedroom furniture, we had to wait 2 weeks for a suitable delivery slot as they can only deliver during times most people are at work. Things only got worse from there. 2 days before the delivery, we were called to say one of the items was now out of stock. How that can be possible when we have paid for the item and had a confirmed delivery date is beyond me. On the day of our delivery, the delivery crew turned up two and a half hours later than their time slot, at 9.30pm! One of the items, a wardrobe, was not fit for purpose, with a misaligned door and a damaged frame. On speaking with the customer service team, the item was out of stock so we were advised that there would be another two week wait for the wardrobe to be available. We were told by the team that a replacement item could be delivered at the same time as the missing item from the order. Several days later, I received another phone call saying that this would not actually be possible and they could only guarantee one of the missing items to be delivered, and there would be a further two week wait after that until the next item could be sent. As a final straw, today the delivery team turned up to assess the damaged item, but did not have with them the promised missing original wardrobe, and indeed had no idea they were supposed to be delivering anything to us, instead expecting to simply inspect and adjust our damaged furniture. As a result, we have paid £1300 and waited 6 weeks for an incomplete order and are still waiting for two items which wont be in stock for another 2 weeks. We have spoken to a number of friends and family members and have strongly advised they stay away from this company. We have completely lost faith with the ability of the company to resolve this issue, and the numerous unkept promises they have made during this process.”

“We purchased several items of the Hampshire Painted Oak range and the price was the best in the marketplace so look no further. The quality of the product was excellent and the delivery man made sure the items were checked and ok. Prior to delivery we received an email stating the date and time slot for delivery so no need to stay in all day. We were that pleased with the product and colour we decided to paint some of our other cupboards to matc we need some handles to match and the customer service team are trying their best to get them for us from the suppliers. Excellent service and you will not be disappointed if you purchase from this company. Well done . Eric and Gina”

“Chiltern Oak are a great company to purchase from. They have friendly and helpful staff. Their delivery times are quick and there timing spot on. The sideboard that I purchased is very nice quality and was a very reasonable price. I thoroughly recommend Chiltern Oak as they are a great company to deal with.”

“Ordering bed online was very easy to do. We saved money on bed chosen by sourcing it online. The delivery time was very quick compared to shops. Being given a 2 hour slot was brilliant, because I didn't have to wait in all day. Delivery on day was efficient and delivery drivers were friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend the company to family and friends.”
