“Ordered a larder which arrived absolutely smashed to pieces. Requested a replacement, and as a gesture of goodwill they said it would be assembled by the delivery team. Delivery team had to be persuaded to do this when the 2nd item arrived, and left all the packing behind. Item has since developed staining in many places across the wood. Avoid. Cowboys.”

“It has not arrived as notified. DPD their usual awful service say we were not in. Rubbish not left the house all day. (2 of us) now notify "that as we were not in" they will deliver to Bargain Booze on Chester Road. Outrageous as at 80 yrs old how are we expected to pick up a heavy item of furniture ourselves so why do you think we opted for delivery. If this is the service we can expect we will not be ordering again.”

“I'm very pleased with the finished product. However, the blurb clearly states the Eaton coffee table arrives fully assembled, the main reason I ordered it, but it doesn't. I had to assemble it myself which to be fair was a very simple and straightforward job, I'm just thankful I didn't order the table with drawers! Chiltern Oak Furniture you should make it clear whether an item actually does arrive ready assembled.”

“The website was so easy to navigate. We chose several items which looked awesome online. All items were delivered on time by a very knowledgeable & understanding driver. The items were absolutely gorgeous, solid and value for money. We are are more than happy with our purchase.”

“The unit arrived on time. There was plenty of protection for the contents of the box. The Eaton grey small sideboard now sits in my hallway. It is well finished and both the drawer and doors shut properly. It was very good value for the money paid. Only one negative. The advertising stated dovetailed joints to the drawer (always a sign of quality) but mine didn't have any.”

“Ordered two bedside tables Opened the first box and was delighted with the product. However Second box was the wrong colour Customer service went down hill from there long story short I was Messed around for 2 weeks waiting for collection and replacement only to be sent replacement with a large chip to the lattice of the unit very disappointing. Was frustrating trying to sort out the issue told multiple different things that I couldn’t be bothered to return again only offer chillerton oak made to us was a miserly 5% off another item. That they stated was a “gesture of goodwill” That’s how much they value their customers. :/”

“Ordered online, the site said items were in stock. A few days later advised out of stock. Ordered a different colour. 3 items were supposed to turn up, only one did. I am 68 with arthritic wrists and have to move furniture around for the delivery men., so far 4 times. One of the wardrobes was the wrong colour. Another delivery & that was the wrong colour! I had to be ready for another delivery at 7am today. At 10.30 they advised that there was not enough room on the van. I now have to put everything back and do it all again in around a fortnight's time. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE”

“Absolutely love my furniture. But now we want to add to it we can as the colours seems to have been discontinued. So upset as we were told that this is one of the colours that gets ordered more. Ashbourne grey.”

“We have made 3 purchases in the recent past . All excellent quality and fair price. Shop staff are friendly and attentive but not pushy. Delivery was at the agreed time by the company’s own crew.”

“The product is just overpriced cheap rubbish from Vietnam! The design is great and sturdy but the panels are just flimsy made of fake wood, also the doors don't even close!”

“Ordered a few items for the lounge, unfortunately they weren't white as advertised but a creamy colour instead. Keeping the items as it would of been to much hassle to pack and send back”

“Spent over £600, informed them more than once we are unable to accept delivery on a Tuesday (like most people we work during the week) and 3 weeks on the trot they scheduled delivery for a Tuesday. I’ve now had to cancel the order after wasting 3 weeks of my time and will need to spend more time finding a dining table and ordering another one! Poor.”

“Bought two Florence bedside cabinets, in white, had to wait 5 days for delivery, despite living 6 miles up the road. Men delivered them, no problems, however upon unpacking them they were different shades of white. Contacted head office as I was told to do, they then told me I had to contact the store. Sent photos of cabinets, via email. Chap agreed they were different shades of white, so arranged for 2 others to be sent out, so I had to wait another week for replacement units, upon unpacking those, the cabinet drawers on one unit were different colour to the rest of the unit, and it was all scuffed. Second cabinet was slightly scuffed & there was all paint on the knob. Rang the store again, sent more pictures of replacement cabinets. Was agreed the cabinets were faulty. So a collection was arranged, so another week later the second lot of cabinets were collected. I requested my money back & now in tye process of getting refund. I've purchased different cabinets from elsewhere now. Not impressed with the quality of the Florence units and were certainly not worth £139 per unit that I paid.”

“From customer services, to placing our order, up to date tracking of delivery of items and delivery itself, Chiltern Oak Furniture are a company I would and will be buying from again and can not recommend highly enough, the items being delivered fully assembled were an added bonus, the quality of furniture is amazing and looks lovely in our living room.Thank you again.”
