“Furniture ordered on Thursday and delivered the following Tuesday. For the price, the quality of the furniture is outstanding. We were originally looking at paying the price for one piece of similar style furniture from an alternative retailer for what we bought 5 pieces for from Chiltern Oak. There really has been no sacrifice on quality. Everything is solid. The bottom of the drawers are solid - Now that's got to be a good sign of the quality! Overall, taking into consideration the price, speed of delivery and quality of the units we're very very happy customers.”

I particularly like this review, so thank you very much for posting it. It helps to do a bit a shopping around rather than buying based on name only. Often large companies are able to use this to their advantage by ramping prices up as much as 100% in some instances, totally unnecessarily. Thank you for choosing to buy from us, we're glad you haven't been disappointed. :)

“I always use Chiltern Oak now after having bad experiences elsewhere. Easy to order, fast free delivery, lovely nest of tables to match our tv unit. Love the ranges and always top quality service from every staff member we've dealt with. Couldn't praise them enough to be honest.”

“The chest of drawers arrived on time and the men kindly took it upstairs for me. Although lighter than I thought, it fits in perfectly with the other furniture. The measurements are spot on. Would happily buy from Chiltern Oak again.”

“Having spent over £1,200 with you the delivery service was shocking to say the least, had to argue with the drivers, supply tools for them to put wardrobes together, and good job as they had left the 2 top halves of wardrobes on the van! Final blow unable to put tops of wardrobes on as screws not long enough! Really bad customer service”

I'm very sorry to hear this, your feedback does not make pleasant reading although it is of course vital to hear what our customers think of us regardless whether it's positive or negative. Your comments about the delivery drivers are deeply concerning and this will be looked into. Thankfully it is extremely rare that we have issues with our drivers although I appreciate that this doesn't mean much to you at this point in time. “Very nice furniture but utterly chaotic customer service. How on earth can a delivery van be sent out without our furniture twice? If you were about to drive half way across the country wouldn't you check if the van was empty, especially having not had the sideboard on the van first time? Huge waste of time and everyone blaming each other. If there had been a 0 stars option I would have selected it.”

Hello there, I'm sorry to see that you've left us negative feedback and had a disappointing experience with us. I can advise that the missing item on your order was in fact due to arrive to us from our Supplier before your agreed delivery date, unfortunately there was a delay on the arrival time of your item and our supplier had not informed us of this, I apologise that we were unable to notify you of this delay. However, I can advise your item is due to arrive with us this week and we will be looking to deliver your item this Friday for you - our customer services department will contact you this week to schedule a delivery timeslot. “I ordered a tv unit for my lounge on 17/1/17, It was advertised fast delivery and I got a call to say it would be delivered on the 27th between 10 and 12. I took a holiday from work and waited till 2pm to phone to find out what was happening. An hour later I got a call to tell me the unit was still in the warehouse and it would be another week before it would be delivered, I am so disappointed that I have asked to cancel and will go elsewhere”

“Good quality furniture at really good prices. I would definitely recommend. Email to say order received, then to book delivery slot giving you a two hour window on particular day. Item came on time, well packaged - all within a week!! Dressing table & stool very sturdy & well made & easy to build.”

“Good quality but trinket mirror fell and glass broke when my wife attempted to screw to the dressing table. This was annoying as she followed the instructions provided.”

“Called on Friday, ordered my 2 cabinets, staff member very polite. where I was told just delivery for Monday. I received a email on Sunday telling name that they had been despatch. Receive email Monday telling me delivery Would be Tuesday. Tuesday morning receive email telling delivery time in a 1 hour slot. Arrived on time, packed well beautiful cabinets fit lovely in our lounge. Great service & product.”
