“Customer services very poor. Delivery date was not provided so we had no idea when the 2 triple Hampshire wardrobes would arrive and we weren’t prepared when they arrived quite unexpectedly. Also had problem when trying to assemble since, due to a misalignment of wood stay by 2mm, the floor would not, and could not, slide in to place. When mentioned to customer service that the wardrobe could not be built and required a replacement side panel they offered no resolution advising that no exchange was possible. I might also add that the wardrobe was described as requiring “some assembly” but it arrived as a flat-pack with 30x bolts and 19x screws and had to be assembled fully. Not a problem in itself except when, due to poor manufacture, you can’t assemble it without serious re-work.”

“Lovely product, and friendly staff, but it was very difficult to get advance delivery information and the unit has arrived without door handles, which I have been informed will take approximately a week to be sent out in the post.”

“Already have the M&S Padstow range and the NEXT Malvern range. Chiltern Oak Salisbury range which I bought for the conservatory is very light and flimsy. Although cheaper than M&S and NEXT (not by much) the quality and build are VASTLY inferior. Did not bother returning the units (who does that!) because they won't be used often and M&S was out of stock anyway.”

“Only recently opened the delivery of sideboard, due to redecorating. We found one of the doors wouldn't close properly. The shelves were tough to touch. It wasn't a solid oak top.It was an engineered top. We were very disappointed with it as thought it was poorly finished and not worth the money.”

“White Chester nest of tables. I am now happy having returned the 'Grey' which was (Truffle) more beige than grey as stated in title. Good quality only loses 1 star as I thought the smaller table would slide in a grove under the larger, but it just sits under, so ok. Overall would recommend. Delivery excellent (24 hrs) but collection for returns took 12 days. It was free though so minor niggle. Helpful staff.”

“I ordered two wooden bedside tables and they were both delivered on time and in good condition. Very well packed, and already assembled. They look nice and are of great quality for the price. Real wood rather than MDF. Doors do not slide that smoothly but works fine since I don't open and close them too often”

“Drawers a poor fit and a different colour but I wanted a compact bedside cabinet and as it’s not on show I decided to keep it. Cheaper, better quality similar products on sale in local shopping centres I’ve realised. Colour overall as shown.”

“Ordered and received hall table in 48 hours .Excellent packaging so no bumps or dents when opened As it was fully assembled , literally opened the box and placed it the hallway. Would recommend”

“Daylight robbery. Advertised a grey (light grey) cabinet. Delivered a green grey darker cabinet. When we suggested we didn’t want it, they want it to be in its original packaging. Amazingly to open a huge piece of furniture you have to uncover the packaging. Absolute trap to mis-sell their furniture then claim it’s not in it original packaging. Appalling and I won’t let them get away with it. FHIO has been contacted.”

Hello there. I'm sorry to hear that you haven't had a positive experience with us. We do our best to ensure the images representing our products are as accurate as possible, but they are shot with ideal lighting and colours may appear different when placed in certain areas of the room. Whilst I understand your frustrations regarding the packaging, this is a part of our returns policy which is referenced on both the individual product pages and the Returns Policy section of the website, and in our opinion it is possible to open this item without destroying the outer packaging. We are able to accept returns without packaging, but it must be suitably packaged by you in a way that ensures it doesn't get damaged in transit on its return to us.
