“Easy ordering process, competitive price and good reviews made me choose Chiltern Oak Furniture for my units. Delivery was not as quick as expected but not too long, however communication between us and delivery company was very good and convenient time was arranged. All in all very happy with whole ordering and delivery process as well as the quality of product and would definitely recommend this company.”

“Needed a narrow bedside cabinet and found one for £59 which was very reasonable for a piece of furniture that was already assembled, delivery was speedy and the product was as described. I will definitely buy again. There are so many poor furniture companies around and I have to say for the money Chiltern oak furniture are great”

“Firstly, the men delivering my furniture just dumped it in the hall. Contrary to the website, they didn't ask where it was meant to go. Secondly, I ordered two slim bedside cabinets. The website said they were 32 cm in width. The obedience that arrived were the larger ones. Thirdly, the bed that arrived was not the one I ordered! All in all, the entire order was incorrect and not what I ordered. Lynda Farnham”

As discussed with you on the telephone, firstly please allow me to apologise that the delivery company did not complete their duties to your satisfaction. Secondly, I'm also sorry that the dimensions listed on our website were incorrect for the Bedside Tables you purchased. This was an isolated error and has since been rectified. Regarding the Bed Frame that you have received, this is the one that you ordered. I understand that you are in fact happy with the items that you've purchased and intend to keep them, as a result I hope that this hasn't discouraged you from ordering from us in the future as your experience with us on this occasion is not representative of our business generally. “Fantastic service from start to finish. Chiltern Oak were able to arrange for an additional piece of furniture to be added to my order at short notice, so I was able to take receipt of everything at the same time. Delivery guys arrived bang on 8am and were courteous and polite. A very minor issue with one piece of furniture was dealt with immediately. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chiltern Oak Furniture.”

“Terrible customer service which is a shame as the product is very nice. After not receiving my goods 10days from placing the order, yet money was taken from my account I had to chase it up, I was told there was a problem with the supplier (yet it still said in stock on the website), I was then assured the bookshelf was being sent via 48hr express delivery that evening. I still didn't receive my order so when I called again I was assured it was going on the Friday. I eventually got it the following Tuesday, 17 days after placing the initial order. Not good enough and has put me off ordering from there again.”

“Let down by a poor delivery service, arrived 1hr after the agreed time slot, didn't call to warn us so we missed it, have had to wait another week before they are delivered. Can't comment on the chairs but I hope they fit under the table after all this.”

“The bookcase looks great and was delivered on time at the agreed time. My only negative comment is I expected the delivery men to unwrap the bookcase and take the wrapping away. I have bought several items of furniture from different companies and this has been the norm. I am a pensioner and of small stature so could not have managed this on my own. I happened to have someone with me at the time of the delivery so we were able to do it.”

“I recently purchased a 16 bottle wine cabinet in light oak. The quality was excellent and it was a fine piece of carpentry manufactured furniture. It was delivered in less than a week. Far superior to flat packs which rely on those fixings we have become used to and are never truly rigid. Thank you John”
