We brought a photo necklace,I would have started a five if when they sent the necklace back there were ashes left over ,for my elderly mum she did not no why they were given back as there was no explanation to this so luckily I explained, also it was a hell of a high price when they didn't offer a photo with the necklace as it has to be done seperately elsewhere,I wish I shopped around to a more genuine reasonable place as I have since done so

We are sorry that you were not completely satisfied with the memorial locket that we recently crafted to your specifications. Whenever we have more ashes than required for the creation of the piece of jewellery, we return them with the finished product. We apologise if it was not clear that the package may contain these excess ashes, but we hope that your mum was comforted by the beauty of the locket. We do not offer the service of inserting a photo in the other half of the locket and we apologise if this was not clear to you from the wording on our website. I ordered a sterling silver adore memorial ashes bracelet as i lost my mum in July and wanted something to remember her by. When the bracelet came i was disappointed in the lack of colour within the heart. It was advertised as red but was more of a pale pink. Also the bracelet was quite flimsy and i am worried about wearing it incase it breaks. Service was good, but the product itself was a little disappointing especially for the price paid.

The resin can appear a different shade to that on the website due to the colour of the ashes. Ashes vary in colour, and while we do our best to select pieces that will complement the chosen resin colour, as each piece is individually hand-crafted there are often colour variations. Although the bracelet's chain is quite dainty, it is finely crafted and the lobster clasp is quite secure, so we hope that you will decide to enjoy wearing your bracelet and not worry about it breaking. I ordered a silver bracelet with a heart which would hold some of my mums ashes. I thought i would get the red heart as my mum was born in January and garnet is her birth stone. I was quite disappointed as the red is more of a light pink, even though on the website picture it looks red. Also the bracelet is quite flimsy and i am worried about wearing it incase it breaks. The service i received from Cherished Urns has been good but the product has let it down.

Ordered two rings one for myself and one for my partner we waited weeks for the rings due to a supplier issue with my partners ring size, no communication other then my emails to chase the order! Now we had them time will tell after a week they already look 6months old with scratches and one has a chip out of it! Will be checking the warranty small print as think I may need to use it! Other then that happy as we have are baby girl close to us.

Extremely slow service- the delivery time is 7 days once they have received your ashes however I had to email twice as it has been about 4 weeks and only then did they do my order- I wonder if they would have done it if I had not emailed! But my necklace is gorgeous and I got all excess ashes back so products are good, just don’t expect quick service!

As was communicated, we did experience a delay processing your order. We experienced a higher than usual demand around the time your order was received, combined with staff annual leave. We've now expanded our jewellery making team and are clearing the backlog and getting back to normal processing times. We are, however, glad that the wait was worth it and you love your new necklace. Service was quick, but the amount of ashes requested seems like I’ve received the exact same amount back.. perhaps you don’t need to request as much depending on the item being made. I was having a ring made and it was by cherished urns recommendations I chose a size bigger as my band was to be quite thick, now the ring doesn’t fit on the finger I wanted to wear it on. Very disappointed with this. And the outer packaging when I received my ring was torn and the box inside a little bashed. No damage was caused to the ring itself.

Dear customer, We are so sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the ring we recently crafted for you. With regard to the amount of ashes we request for the process, please let me explain. The quantity of ashes used to create the jewellery piece is very small. However, we request a spoonful of ashes so that we can select the pieces which will look best when mounted. Larger pieces show up better and create a prettier effect. We also pick ashes based upon their colour in order to best compliment the chosen resin colour. Finally, we add the resin in layers so that the ashes end up evenly dispersed and so look the most attractive. As we are well aware that the ashes are of great value to the customer, we always take great care of them and return any that have not been incorporated into the piece of jewellery, and we always work to a strict process in a completely sterile environment. Regarding the damage to the outer packaging. We are of course unable to control the handling of the package after it leaves us. However, for that very reason we pack each piece of jewellery in a sturdy box to protect it on its journey, and we were pleased to hear that it did just that, and that the ring arrived undamaged. Finally, with regard to the size of the ring. It can be difficult to measure the correct size especially as our fingers can vary in diameter at different times of the day. We were sorry to learn that the ring does not fit on the finger you wish to wear it on. Please contact us in order that we can assist. The urn is beautiful and came well packaged. My initial phone call with a very helpful lady I presume in Cornwall was very good. Subsequently I spoke to an American call centre - this was really bad and nearly put me off ordering. I sent an email and got no reply - think customer service could be better. Eventually ordered on line which was fine.

With regards to how your telephone call was answered, we do have an overflow call handling company to ensure all calls are answered promptly if all of our team here are already on calls. Cherished urns need to check your packages as my order was wrong,sadly too late to fix the problem as the items I bought had to be given as gifts to the bereaved family who live away from me. The 2 necklaces that store ashes were ordered and arrived in packaging saying they where both blue but sadly 1 of them turned out to be purple but as I said they where given and sent away for gifts I could do nothing about it apart from bringing it to your attention.
