“We first heard of Charlie's Smokehouse through a programme hosted by Kate Humble on rural businesses some years ago. We gave it a try and have been fans ever since. Smoked Trout is cleaner tasting and less salty than smoked salmon and all of the trout products are light and delicious - simply grilled or poached fresh fillets are delectable! The pate of creamy whipped trout studded with gems of smoked trout is so moreish that we usually order 2 pots since one does not go far enough. Quite a find of a small but we hope growing business. Treat yourself to some Charlie's trout - you will not be disappointed.”
