An award-winning small British business, we focus on designing luxury dog beds and blankets that are cosy, stylish and practical, and made to perform over time. Comfort for our canine customers is paramount, as is styling for our human customers, and we design to a mantra of ‘machine washable everything’. “Love these snuggle beds. I have two Italian Greyhounds, Carmen and Poppy. Carmen will only lay on top but Poppy snuggles deep inside the bed. Service is stellar, I received both my recent orders within the week!”

“Fast delivery, high quality! My dog immediately started using the bed which is not usual as in the past it took her usually a week to get into her new bed. She is sleeping in the bed more often than with her old one. She can spread and roll as much as she likes. She is a size of a labrador and size L is perfect for her. It is hard to find comfortable bed for large dogs and I was happy to pay the price knowing she’d love it!”

“In the last 7 years, I’ve bought at least 7 large snugglebeds, 3 covers, several replacement mattresses and our dogs love them. It took me a while to take the plunge as I worried my dog wouldn’t be able to use it without help, a couple of days of posting her into it with cheese and she nailed it! She’s nearly 8 now and uses her CC as a place of refuge from all things abhorrent to a whippet (rain, nail clippers, thunder, people that breathe too loud, anyone that wants to stroke her, anyone that doesn’t live in our house, the other dogs, taking worming tablets - everything really!) Recently, I made a mistake and had to return a bed I had ordered in error to swap, the team were fantastic. They helped me arrange the return and swapped what I needed with the same driver. I always think you don’t know what customer service is like at a company until something doesn’t go to plan but Charley Chau came through for me! I know they seem expensive but your dog will thank you and it will complete their little life.”

“Absolutely beautiful bed, my dog sleeps on his bed during the day when I am working from home. His bed is next to my desk and always snuggled in his bed to be near me when I’m working. Gorgeous!!”

“I have the original snuggle bed for my whippet which was a game changer for settling him for a full nights sleep! Was delighted to see the extra warm version and can confirm that the whippet continues to be very happy. Excellent quality, thoughtful colours and great customer service (kept up to date with delivery)....highly recommend for any burrowing 4 legged friend!”

Hello Mary, I'm so sorry to hear that the bed is too large for you. We are always happy for customers to return items that are not suitable for an exchange or refund and we even refund the original UK shipping fee a customer has paid to have the order sent out in the first instance. Full details are on the Returns, Exchanges & Refunds page on our website (there's a permanent link to it from every page): https://www.charleychau.com/pages/returns-exchanges . We also send this link out in our order confirmation email but, sadly, it sounds like you didn't spot it. We're the first to acknowledge that our products are not at the bargain basement pricing end of the dog bed market but our costs are genuinely driven by the quality that we deliver in the fabrics that we use and the quality of the construction. We're proud supporters of British manufacturing and everything is made in England by professional, specialist sewing teams. If the mattress has not been used and you would like to return it then I am more than happy to arrange a return and refund with you - I will email you directly to check with you. But if you decide to keep the mattress I hope you enjoy sewing a cover for it - it sounds like a fun project!
