An award-winning small British business, we focus on designing luxury dog beds and blankets that are cosy, stylish and practical, and made to perform over time. Comfort for our canine customers is paramount, as is styling for our human customers, and we design to a mantra of ‘machine washable everything’. “Bought our second Deeply Dishy bed for our Whippet, Mac, our first was the weave, this time we opted for a midnight velour for the car and it's lovely, Mac loves it, but we already knew he would! Mac loves anything Charley Chau, as do we because they're always great quality and they look amazing in the house, beautiful fabrics with a lovely selection of colours, and so comfortable particularly as our boy gets older”

“Charley Chau has such wonderful luxury items for our doggies, from beds to blankets, we have many dotted around the house. Our Saluki / Whippet x is a real princess and just loves to snuggle into her beds as long as we have a CC snugly blanket in it. It's a great family-run business with a very personal touch. Excellent customer service”

“We decided to treat our beautiful boy Bob to a new bed as at the ripe old age of 13 we thought he deserved all the home comforts we could give him. Charley Chau beds come very highly recommended for a reason; the quality of the bed is amazing, customer service is excellent and it arrived very quickly. Bob absolutely loves his Ducky Donut, so much so that we are now able to sit on the settee sometimes as he prefers his new bed!”

“Quality is always exceptional. However postage is very expensive. I don't mind as I know the items will be worth it but I can only give 4 stars as I wish it was less.”

Hello, Thank you for your review and I'm glad you're happy with your Charley Chau products. With regards to the cost of the postage, we have two options available for our UK customers for regular-sized parcels that we charge at £7 for the standard two-day service or £8.50 for next day. Charley Chau is still a very small company with just three of us full-time at our HQ in Manchester plus two part-time team members who work remotely. As a small company, unfortunately, we do not have access to the discounted rates that national retailers are offered. We do not make money from the postage charges and have for many years part-subsidised the shipping costs ourselves. To give some context to the costs involved, just this year alone we have already been charged over £80,000 in courier fees. “I love Charley Chau .. their attention to detail is fabulous and their beds last so well. My 2 vizslas have been enjoying their snuggle beds for 3 or 4 years now … they like me to tick them in in the evening… The interaction is on point and the beds and covers are always fabulous and are a big hit with my grandchildren too!! I have also bought dog collars which were very smart. Thank you all at Charlie Chau”

“I would highly recommend these snuggle beds. I bought a medium one for my wire dachshund over three years ago, and it’s still looking amazing. So much so I’ve bought another, large one (as pictured). I think the waterproof liner is worth the purchase, the older cushion still looks like new! I also thought the customer service from Chloe was excellent. There was a delay due to stock issues, which was noted on their website, but I’d not clocked it. Chloe proactively emailed me offering different options, wait until in stock, or switching to another colour. I choose to wait, and they kept me informed, thank you Chloe!”

“Their products speak for themselves. Quality through and through. We have a multitude of different beds that wash brilliantly and I love their faux fur blankets, so warm and snuggly. Excellent customer service and super fast delivery.”

“Jenny and Christine run the delightful Charley Chau Company, they are professional, helpful and patient with repeated enquiries relating to their products. This is the second bed I have bought for my Westie. She loves her Ducky Donut bed and now her new Deeply Dishy bed with fleece comforter is another favourite. The beds are well made and the choice of fabrics are unusual. Thank you!”

Hi Vanessa, Thank you for your review and I'm sorry to read that your dog isn't a fan of the Snuggle Bed. You could try encouraging him into the bed. Using a treat he really likes, making sure he sees you have it, place a small piece under the front of the cover for him to retrieve. Repeat this a few times and then start to move the treat further into the bed. He should figure our quite quickly he can climb inside. I have also checked your order and see that you ordered the small size. We see a lot a size variance amongst Miniature Dachshunds and most need the medium and not the small size.
